saurabh, 03 Jan 2011@bunty...did u faced any problem with mesaaging and calls..... more*regarding calls earlier i sometimes had problems like i cud not connect while dialing and ppl cud not connect to me very frequent but now all problem solved no problem at all,actually works gr8 after update.
*regarding messgs i once got wrong name display of sender otherwise works smooth
*one thing i want to add is Battery performance is improved a lot ,now it tells perfectly the status of available battery and lasting much longer and now actually tells 60,50,40,30,20,10% not like eclair 60,50,15,boom..:p

*uninstall kies with this utility (Your uninstaller),you will get it here free ..http://www.ursoftware.com/
*download the latest kies from samsung site
*install the fresh copy ,it will get connected :)

but still one question is in my mind... more NO..If battery is already 99% it shld not take 3.5 hr actually in normal charging wen it reaches to 99% it takes 1 more hr to reach 100% n same for discharging(though this problem is solved in froyo :))
as i said i did not loose imei and mac address and yes u can rollback the process of updation for that u will hav to backup ur original firmware which u can flash back if required.

Has Samsung released froyo update..? I believe no.. so if I update my phone to froyo.. from the black market... would that harm my phone... and if does then plz tell how to rollback the changes???

cellmaniac, 31 Dec 2010@bunty plz tell about its ability of playing games after... morei admitt phone is super fast after update,played angry bird and its better than before at any time as in eclair it used to hang a bit in few levels at starting ,now i dont feel any lag, one more thing im surprised abt is internet now browsing has dramatically improved perheps due to flash support or i dont know what but its really very fast ,pages are loading smooth and faster,playing youtube natively on page is amazing,i must say phone has improved dramatically for hardware concerns. ITS WORTH DOING UPDATE! :)

AjJ, 01 Jan 2011Hi Everyone, Bought i5801 on 30th dec.. and it's all goo... moreit gets 100% charged but only after 3 n half hrs, it shows a notification saying battery fully charged at the left upper corner same sign as battery icon(u ll see two battery icons on the screen that means battery is fully charged)

I am unable to play .wmv files on this model of galaxy although its written in manual that its a compatible format for galaxy 3.
Please help me
I have already tried to convert .wmv files to .wmv itself by its inbuilt converter which starts after connecting phone to the pc but it doesn't work...
