heys guys never update ur galaxy3 with custom firmware like tat d one is availaible on samfirmware.com. If u do u wil loose imei and void ur warranty. U wil never than install official samsung froyo update n u wont get any support 4m samsung service center bcoz u hav lost imei n void ur warranty. Samsung kies check ur imei n version b4 updating froyo if it cant match unique no than it wont install. If gingerbread availaible than u wil cry at ur deed.

has any one idea when actually froyo will be available thru KIES, does flashing void the warranty ? is thr any way to get warranty back if we loose imei? plz help anxious to get froyo but cant afford to loose warranty

Lucky, 17 Dec 2010Too much hanging problem. Dnt evn suport 8gb card.i also use an 8gb card, it works really fine, not lag at all.

then recovery screen appears....
and then wipe data and cache from there.....
and reboot.....
in recovery screen move up/down with vol up/down buttons and for ok , press home button...

hi i have a problem in my galasxy 3 mobile that is i am trying to connect my mobile to pc via samsung pc suit kies , it dosent connect with computer . it gives a problem " mts device missing " so plese help me to coonect my mobile to pc .

[deleted post]Go for LG optimus one. Specs looking nice in papers. Dont know about actual performance. But as a galaxy 3 user i tell u that it is also a good phone with its specs. Everything is just fine. Waiting for official froyo update.

I5800XXJPB is d latest firmwire for galaxy 3.. if u have any probs after flashing just reset to factory settings.. it works fine, just luv it

go for lg optimus one great performance and features than samsung gt i5801 and ultra cheap price tag of rs. 11,875. I5801 is in no way can be comparable to lg optimus one. Lg optimus is upgrading to android 2.3 gingerbread and 5801 still at 2.1 eclair.

Sunny, 16 Dec 2010i have GT-I5801 and while calling to any no it goes on slee... more@Atul, please remove active widgets from home screens, keep the icons if you want. restart the phone. see if the phone still hangs up..?

i have GT-I5801 and while calling to any no it goes on sleep mode suddenly...or you can say it hangs while calling..... i cant access the desktop and cant disconnect my phone while calling......please help me to solve my problem.... i already reset it many times but that problem is still dere.... i will be very obliged plzz help me
