Please help me decide? I need to upgrade now and Im so confused. There r so many phones out there. Im considering the i600 but was putt off by the comments on battery life. How many people are using the phone for the office applications? I do use e-mail a lot, and was wondering if this phone would be easy using the e-mail? Should I rather opt for SE K810i or Nokia 6234? (Same cost)

Hi there, the battery is fine. If you listen to too much MP3 or play clips, constantly: Of course, this will consume all the battery energy; just like a normal MP3 player or ipod, or others. This, you have to keep in mind. I just charge up about every 2-3 days, and once in the weekend by putting it off, and let battery charge till charge light indicates fully charged.

Yes. I too have the battery problem. Seems like Samsung is aware hence the thin/ thick battery options which is still not useful on a heavy daily usage. Otherwise, I like the phone and other features.

hi there, i got my i600 about 5,5 months ago. like it very much. good user functions. problem is: battery life. it gives me sometimes less than a day on heavy use on either thin or thick battery. i would like to know if anyone else has had this problem: battery bar would show say 3 bars in " idle mode". as soon as u want to do something, it just switches off & u HAVE to charge it again before use!
anyone, please advise. tks

I have an i607 and need to add Chinese characters to the phone, both to view and to send. Are there any products out there to help me do this? Does anyone know if the software for the i608 from HK comptible with the i607. I really need an OS with this function built in without buying a new phone. Thank you

Nokia6288,
I don't know if there is such thing for chinese, but when i bought mine, it has no Arabic input.. i had to go the Samsung center and install an arabic support application.
For the conversation recording, there is a software available for that i guess.. but i can't remember the name :-(
you can just check this website, there are a lot of good free software here:

angelfire04,
if you are talking about battery lasting for over 3 days, forget it..
the maximum you would get could be 1.5 ~ 2 days with normal use.

The i600 package c/w TWO batteries. 1 is a standard battery, the other is a slightly thicker extended battery.
