Got mine but... where is the Voice Assist feature AKA Voice Commands? Someone please help me locate that.

i was told the samsung i600 does not have a 'flight mode' - can anyone confirm this? thank you.

Okay just got mine woo hoo.. but!!! where the hell is all the software? my mobile office is not install neither is my internet explorer unless i'm a moron and its not on the CD someone please inform me if they experienced the same

Dear all
I just purchased mine.I was looking forward to get this phone since I saw it on the site..For the last two years I was using a D600E and I was more than happy with the phone!In fact I have a problem changing the phones all the time I thhing is my hobby,but just lately I realized that!
As I was needing a phone that hae wifi and is at least 3G I bought first N80 even I never liked Nokia...I don't understand why I should spend so much money on a phone that cracks and is disgusting finished!
You can have the same features from SonyEricsson or Samsung or LG on a lower price.
Don't think is something specila inside...once you open a Nokia it has inside the same components that any phone has,provided by different comp manufacturers.
So,I bought N80...a sandwiich,but nothing to say very complex as features....everything inside....
but very hard to write mails and SMS,
Besides that,thae main disavantage....baterry!!!!!!!!!
What is the point to put all the features inside if the battery doesn;t last?
I sold it in a week and I bought N91...
Not bad,good battery....sound quality very good but only with the earphones....or else..it makes a strange noise like the speaker is broken.
Trying to see if is only mine that cracks...I tried more of this.....so all were the same......
Besides,the quality of the finishing is loussy.........you might cut your palm once you open thee flip....

I understand it has 4giga...but let's face it....165 grames....and very thik...
I sold it and yestarday passing by to a shop in Italy I saw the new I600....
Believe me the phone is trully amazing..of course for somebody that needs a smarphone...
If you don't need it it would be raher dificult to learn how to use it.....but eecvnh thou,the menu is very intuitive,good finishing,very thin,packed with functions,the battery is more that good,...and I payed for all this 440 euros plus a mini sd 4giga..45...so for less than 500 I have a smarphone thtat,believe me you van not have from any other manufacturer....
Besides that,once again once you kkep the new Samsung I600 in your hand you will never want to look for any other phone...

It was suck! I thought this one was the i607 blackjack! AFTER I got it I found out it didn;t have those important functions! Cingular is soooo tricky!!!

To the person who said the i320 is the blackjack. Thats not true! the blackjack is the i607 the i320 is different phone all together. I recently visited the samsung store and they had the i320 and the blackjack beside each other and they are quite different.

u see on this page.. it clearly shows "Available" ... and its available... my work mate got one.. and it has Wi-Fi and HSDPA ( but this fucntion not availble yet.. from Vodafone.. only work slow 3G)

You'll be able to purchase this phone next week because this phone is not officially release yet. The FCC approved this phone on first week of February. Samsung will start shipping this phone as early as next week.
You can conact WElectronics or go on there website and get there number and call them in regards to the phone, i called them thay said next week wednesday they'll have it in stock.

Samsung i607 (BlackJack):
No Wifi, Quad Band, No HSDP, Edge
these are two different phones! Keep this in mind! Blackjack is already available, and the i600 will be available within a month

this phone is the best smartphone currently..
has everything.. also HSDPA (3.5G) is good to have for fast internet.. it is also better then SE P990i... its much slim and lighter.. then any other smartphone... inc. HTC range.

i600 is not called "blackjack!" if you knew any better then you would know i320 was givin the name"blackjack!" Both look simular,but different like night and day. i600 does have wifi and runs really smooth. so those of you who wanna get the i600 ...DO IT! its a really good phone!! but please note there are some bad batches out there and you might recieve a broken phone. or messed up battery. always use the phone until the battery is about to die and charge it over night for the best performance. then you can charge it whenever you need to. also know that car charges will decrease the life of ur battery if you charge it for more then 15 minutes.

Hi, I read in some website that the processor speed is only 220MHz. Is it true? Can anyone tried the phone and give feedback to this post? Its all about what time the phone's need to open applications. Don't want to wait too long. Thanks in advance.

The samsung i600 will be launched in the first week of april in India.. And yes it has wi-fi.. Does any one know how is the response speed of the processor in multi-tasking?

Question: Does the contact menu shows a repeat of your contacts because it shows both from the sim card and the phone database. And is it possible to choose from the settings to show contacts from the sim or phone only.
