i think that this is more a bussines phone more for bowsing but n79 is more a multimedia phone.

Built quality of samsung is robust..comparing to nokia. Now i have nokia n95 8gb. Thinking of buying this on. I dont know its gonna be smart move. I hate sliding phone and n95 has woobly slider ...looks like breaking down any moment.Only thing i will miss of n95 8gb is screen size....2.8"

addicted2088, 22 Oct 2008you can see the difference only when you compare the same i... moreWell the fact is OLED screen does not need 16 million colors compared to TFT screens because it is produces more vibrant and realistic color and uses less power without the backlights and it has wide angle viewing, maybe 180 degrees without fading the picture. A 65k OLED is superior or equal in terms of color than to 16 million color TFT screens.

From the preview, obviously the phone has problem with its mouse pad. Why trying to change a dpad which works perfectly fine ? Typical from samsung, all gadget but no usefulness...

theres no difference between 256 and 16 million colour display, human eye cant see the difference between them. i graduate at optics. forget it, i love this phone and no matter it has black white display or not.

oh no they didnt say 11 hour talk time hmmm thats my kinda phone not bigo fan of internet stuff on phone but 11 hour talk time thats kinda battery i always wanted

this better not exceed USD$380, otherwise it won't sell...there are many other phones you can buy with better spec. But $300~380 would make it No.1 seller

Iam a nokia fan because of symbian but now knowing this phone.. i find myself a symbian fan... great job samsung..

Finally someone puts out an everthing phone. This phone totally rocks and the only thing it needs is a xenon flash then this phone would exceed all others

According to some sources it has AMOLED and Not OLED. Not sure which one is correct.
GPS works on pedestrian and driving modes. Cheers
