Hey Guys, I need little help here, I have seen few articles on the internet stating there's a few different ROM's which comes with the RADIO for the samsung i780. Has anybody installed it and does it really work??

i am using i780 for almost 6 months... i have a problem i cannot sync my phone with my windows vista laptop. my computer does not recognize my i780. how will i be able to sync this? help!

This phone has most of the Epix's features but priced closed to the Jack series smart phones. The 3G is only for the Europe and Asia market but it has WiFi and two cameras. It has the same optical track pad and touch screen as the Epix. The phone is well build and feels solid. It is one high value phone for sure.

Hello All,
I'm using this Phone for almost 8 months now...It's great....
I have a small problem....Windows Live, MSN Messenger, Microsoft MyPhone does not work when I connect using WiFi....but the same works when I'm connected through GPRS....
Could you pl. advice?

hi,guys
i had a minor prob here
i tried 2 remove d camera sound with mobile registry editor software...as i couldn't run it on my phone (which it said error occured)...so i used my laptop 2 changed it via usb...now,d sounds removed but i can only now take pictures or change d menu 4 d camera using d touch screen...none of d hardware keypads seems 2 respond like they used 2 b...
has anyone had this kinda issue?how can i reset 2 default my camera or make my hardware keypads work again like they used 2?
need help...

Hi Gwapito, need your help again dude!! I just like to know does all the i780 models come with 624Mhz processor or do they even offer the 416Mhz processor with ARM Intel?
My phone shows this:
Platform : Pocket PC
OS Version : 5.02
OEM info : SGH-i780
Processor : ARM Intel
Clock Speed : 416Mhz
And this information shows up on the TCPMplayer.

I bought this phone last week, it is awesome. It has very good features and I upgraded it to Mobile 6.1 plus added some features that makes the colors of the toolbars black. COOL!

To Russel re: backlight on when music is playing-if you are using the Windows music player that came with the phone, you can program the buttons and there is an option for screen toggle. I set my spacebar as the toggle and when you press it after programming it, it turns the screen off, but you can only use it in the music player screen and not in any other screen even if the music is playing in the background.

Nice phone i got one of these..., put emoze for blackberry push mail alike, nimbuzz for chat, garmin xt mobile 5.0 for GPS, some java apps, SPB mobile shell 3.0 for iphone menu looks, facebook for winmob, lingvo dictionary, pocket rar, skype and google apps... you can do anything with this phone... AWESOME!!!! and also it's quite cheap!! WORTH TO BUY !!!

These are the two best.
1. Smartblock- can blocklist both message and calls. Easy to use.
2. Magicall- can blocklist both message and calls. More flexible and plenty of options. though confusing to use at first.
