Kev, 01 Oct 2008any ideas on themes? cant find any that supports the i780..... moreThe most themes are made for spb mobile shell, but unfortunately don't work on a quare screen, unless you install RealVGA. But that brings a whole lot of new problem since the themes have to run on 96 dpi (128 is default) and you need glasses to work with windows underneath. So if you ask me go for spb mobile shell as it is or you can work with Samsung Home plug-in which is still better than Windows default. I use spb mobile shell, because it gives you a nice touch-friendly device. It's not by chance that it's a top seller for the last 2 years. Regards!

About call records - i'm afraid it's like you said - weird it's written unlimited record history, but maybe there's some setting in wm because every wm6 phone has the same written. i'll look into it. Regards!

but what about the call records have you found any solution for that ?? rgds

PDA user, 29 Sep 2008This phone does not have unlimited call records as indicate... morei talked once for 2 hours straight and got the lessening of the battery for 30% which is not bad since the talk time in the specs is 7 hours. I don't know what u do that you drain the battery within 4 hours, i can go with about 40 calls per day and some wi-fi for at least 2 days. Regards!

This phone does not have unlimited call records as indicated in the specs and there is no 3rd party software that is available for it to have the "practically unlimited" call records ...the max i get is 30 calls all in!
After one month of usage the battery drains out after four hours of regular use without wifi.
The Optical mouse is cool but for serious PDA users look for something else

But the message tones don't work if the MP3s are in the storage card. Only incoming ringtones work for storage card location.

I've been able to save my mp3's on the storage card, and set them as ringtones. I'm was confused to see other posts stating that it's not possible. I can.

Yes. You cannot set the MP3 in Storage Card as ringtones. You need to save the MP3s at phone memory under ../Application Data/Sounds.
I wonder whether Google Android has the same issue...

Hi! Not happy since today i discovered that widows mobile doesn't support saving attachments like mp3 on storage card. No-go:(
It's not a samsung fault but strictly a windows mobile fault. I will try the program from surrealnetworks today - some say it should solve the problem. Does anyone else have a feeling that Microsoft is making Windows mobile with left hand and a bit carelessly? Regards!
