We are waiting for a wm6.1 rom updates .The samsung is a stupit manufacture. They don't give a rom update for samsung i780 till now.

I like the phone, it syncs well with outlook exhange server, and is user friendly.However I have some issues.
1. The CD that came with the handset does not have the manual loaded.(Bought in South Africa)
2. The specs are lacking - can I use an 8Gb SD card with the phone?
3. I read about the camera front/back reversal on the forum. It is not in the manual I downloaded.
4. Samsung have not answered my queries posted on the web.

Hi, there. I don't know if this phone can be used as modem to connect my laptop for the Internet. I used to use Nokia phone as modem with USB cable. Thanks.

you may find this hard to believe I know I did but apparently Garmin does not like if yo uhave a lot of SMS in your inbox. I had the same issue and deleted my messages rebooted and problem was solved.

Guys..tried to switch on my garmin and received such pop up. Data type misalignment at program address 0x03f966c8 in background..any one knows what it means. Garmin is unable to load and just hangs after that..Thanks to advice

Hello ! can you make the LED light of this phone alway light like O2? because it light in blue or green only when have the miss call, after the CPU turn off, the LED light also turn off. So is there any way to make the LED always light ? Thanks.

The thing works like hell even on a square screen and i can confirm that the Russians really did a good job. All their applications work flawlessly, almost better than windows. If you like it - go for it, i'll stick with it for a while probably. Regards! p.s. when you insert pics of your friends in speed dial and organize all your favourite programs then it really becomes useful.

sagar, 02 Oct 2008can you pls guide me how to configure wifi of this phone...... moreWell-it's simple actually. If you access public or open network just activate wireless manager and activate wi-fi (you will see available networks and can choose the one you want to connect to).
If you access password protected networks you must configure settings aacording to the settings of the wireless modem (adsl, cable etc). It's usually wpa2 and eas encryption and then you enter your key and if you've done everything right you can now connect to the network. Simple and works nice on my i780 Regards!

i am not able to configure my wifi n connect to through my phone i780. It was much easier to connect using NOKIA E61i.
pls guide
