karri, 04 Aug 2008please please, can someone tell me how I adjust the volume ... morehmm..a good question. I checked everything and it seems that they forgot this "basic" option. If you figure it out let me know. For myself the default volume for alarms does the job! Regards

jawa, 04 Aug 2008 how to used gps? please let me know in detail... ... morewhat gps programme do u use? When u install the programme, the application itself will guide you through. If you have a wifi or gprs/umts connection then u can use enhanced gps so that the device can pinpoint your location quickly (a few seconds) otherwise it takes a few minutes. The rest is quite easy. I use Garmin XT and Google Maps Regards

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970well - both phones are great and have similar functions, but you have to decide between Symbian and Windows Mobile platform. I had Nokia for a couple of years and wanted a different user experience - and i got it and am very satisfied. I think the pro's and cons are besically personal since the both phones are really great. Maybe you should try both live in the store if you have the chance...

willy, 31 Jul 2008how long will last its battery?? the processor its that ... moreoh - about the processor - i have the unit packed with progs and it runs smooth - however you should have memory cleared if you experience problems (the x doesn't close them, only minimizes i'm afraid)I haven't used really heavy stuff so maybe someone else is more qualified and also this is my first pda:)Best regards!

willy, 31 Jul 2008how long will last its battery?? the processor its that ... moreabout the battery. I'm not a really a hardcore heavy user so with a bit of wi-fi, some gps and regular calls and a few e-mails (and all the settings on power save - also turning off the display when not used) the battery can last me about 3 days. So with the second pack full i can go on a 7 day trip and not run out:) There are number of factors important ofcourse. The temperature, low signal (especially turning from gsm to umts again and again)can all drain the battery. So in all i'm very satisfied with the battery life and with the spare one i can almost forget about running out:)

edipot, 30 Jul 2008hey how do you download Garmin XT? and how do i install it?If you bought Garmin you should have the manual on how to install it on their page. If however you didn't then you should browse on the net - popular download sites have explicit instructions (i'm not going to post warez stuff here ofcourse) Let's just say that the garmin serial is linked to the id number of your sd card.

then when you have set up the network(s) you just run wireless manager and enable wi-fi and it will automatically connect to the only existing or the strongest wireless network. Regards

ruel, 30 Jul 2008Can anyone help me configuring my wifi. I can't connect. Thankswell - it's quite easy actually. Under connections tab you have the option "configure wireless network" where you should see the networks at your disposal. If it's a free network you just click connect and it will connect instantly, however if it's a private network then ofcourse you need to know the settings (encryption) and password (administrator of that network should help you set your i780 up) Basically that's it. Hope it helps! Regards

To take advantage of the built-in GPS and navigational systems on Samsung's upcoming new mobiles, GyPSii will offer their mobility digital lifestyle applications as part of a new world wide non-exclusive agreement with the handset manufacture.
In accordance to the new agreement, Samsung will include GyPSii's leading mobility digital lifestyle app with the Samsung i900 Omnia and Samsung SGH-i780. This is Samsung's take on location based services and social networking for their mobile phones.
