It will blow you away with the today screen and touchscreen friendly interface. You won't regret it. I use it and it's a totally different phone. Cheers to Samsung for making their own today plug-in which is better than Windows - but nothing beats spb - and i tried them all - just a household tip for you:) Cheers

There shuld be a field saying if your gprs connection connects to the internet or to a work network. If you don't want to use it but you don't want to delete it neither, you may "trick" it by saying it connects to a work network, and the phone won't use it for internet connections. That works on i600

There are many apps for WM that can totally change/customize the look of the whole device - with Symbian it is hard/impossible to do a makeover of a phone. But sure - go for what suits you best! edipot, 28 Jul 2008had my battery cover replaced already.. but! my Navfone ... moreGetting navigational software to work takes a bit of tweaking even if u bought it (i won't even go further with the illegal stuff) But if i can suggest - maybe it's better to use Garmin XT navigation from Samsung - i had no problems with it and in combination with Google Maps it's a terrific package. Try it - i'm sure you'll like it. Best regards!

had my battery cover replaced already.. but!
my Navfone application doesnt work this time! hassle!
i had it restored with the store i bought it from and even they had problems... i had to log on to this site and it's asking for my MACHINE ID -- i have no idea where to get that and when i checked the "help" button it says that i can find it at the row below the license key number(once i click the navfone button) -- it has 4 letter -- AAAA -- i wrote it on the website and it says... INVALID MACHINE ID --- UGH!!!
can anyone help?

You can customize every single thing - you can give your phone a stylish make up every day - the software works and doesn't crash (office tasks work perfectly) So i would go with windows for business user - but at the end it's a matter of taste.

It's useful ofcourse if you can connect to the net (gprs or umts or wlan) to use the a-gps and shorten the time for the satellites to track you down at the beginning of a trip, but that's what you have to do with every phone based gps. Works fine with my I780! Best regards!

Hey, are you able to activate Microsoft Voice Command on this phone using a Bluetooth headset? Using the default ROM of course. I love being able to use my BT headset to do voice commands without having to bring the phone out.

I don't think it has auto-keylock function (manually you can lock it by pressing the red button - end key) but i don't need it since i switch off the screen each time i don't use it and when the screen is off - nothing can be pressed anyway. Hope it helps!

Once again Samsung have outdone themselves after uding my friends I'm determined to get one for myself
