Hi i780 owners, can anyone advise me how to toggle between chinese and english inout in messaging and word ? I have got my installed with chinese program but can't input in chinese......

The volume isnt the best on the phone, the rigntones are very soft.

Got my i780 on the weekend - what an awesome phone! Best of all, here is SA it coms free with Samsung Mobile Navigator and Garmin maps!

hi, i just got my samsung i780.. well i find it difficult to like scroll long text.. as in is ther eany way (pardon me if i really don't know) to scroll faster? or any button to press? now i'm using the optical mouse or stylus to keep pressing the side navi bar up and down..

Finally got TOMTOM working you may want to do it like this;
The best way to have your i780 working with TomTom Navigator 6: PortSplitter.
Install TomTom, install PortSplitter.
Set the Windows Mobile settings to program: COM8, hardware: COM9 and baud 4800.
In PortSplitter, set input to COM8: (type it in) and output to COM6:. Then ADD the output port by pressing the ADD button.
Check the AUTOSTART function and press START SPLITTER.
This will start automatically whenever you open the application on a later time.
Then start TomTom, set other nmea gps to baudrate 4800 and point at COM6:. That's all.
It always works (even without soft reset) and the fix is there within 1 minute.

I am about to buy this one in less than a week. But no one in my hometown (even the stores) know if I can download Yahoo Messenger on this thing and use it?

Some interesting and unique features for i780 owner..
1. When you are in the sms inbox. Try to type something you want to find, ie; someone's name.
2. Hold H in sms inbox to shows the shortcut help!

To Little Bee,
For lotus notes. you need to download this program IBM Lotus EasySync.
This allows you to sync with Lotus notes Contacts, Calender, Task, Emails, Notes.
This phone is able to take 8GB sd card. I heard that its able to support 16GB as well.
you can adjust this phone's volume as there's a code for you to adjust, refer back to my post for the code.
As for color, normally for a Window platform PDA. 65k is due to the OS. not the phone, when u see a phone stating 256k color, you will realise that they are refering to 65K effective, 256K for pictures actually.

no doubt about the quality of this phone, but can anyone tell me whether it is compatible for blackberry network, if yes, where can i download the blackberry software?
