Why all the complains about games? this is a PDA phone, not a PSP Phone. if you want gaming, you should probably look at a PSP. Alot cheaper and better graphics.

Hi, I just got this gorgeous phone yesterday. Been at it the whole night. Just wondering if there are any ways tp improve the batt life? Have tried to turn off all WIFI & Bluetooth, but the batt is still limited.
Next, I know nuts on how to use the GPS (Navfone). Can someone please provide a clear step-by-step instructions? The manual provided is not helpful! :(

Hi Amanda,
I am sorry I couldn't help you as I am still learning this phone little by little. When the time comes, I will certainly teach you. Thanks.

Thanks for the affirmation, adrian! :-) Seems you have looked into the i780 in some detail. Have you any idea how to set my personal mp3s as the message and reminder tones? And I can't seem to change the left soft key short-cut function either! Maybe this phone is too complicated for me! :-D

SUGGESTION:
To uninstall unwanted programs, choose Start->Settings->System->Remove Programs.

SUGGESTION:
To those having problems with 3G kicking in rather than WiFi for browsing, check your WiFi connection and ensure that it's set to connect to "Internet" and not to "Work".

I love my new phone and the various features. I've had no app/display issues as posted here.
Unfortunately however, despite all the great things about the i780, my opinion has been significantly soured by the deplorable battery life of the standard batteries that come with the unit. My phone lasts about 5 hours - that's no calls, no use of the display and with bluetooth and wifi functionality turned off.
If not for this battery issues I would be wrapped, but these garbage batteries mean the device is UNUSABLE.
I'm thinking that there must be different battery manaufactures supplying for the i780 due to the vast array of experiences users are posting.
Please help if you think I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way to explicitly turn off GPS (other than to not have a GPS applciation running)?
I can only recommend that you DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE if you need it to make calls and you can't charge the batteries every 4 hours.

Amanda was quite right. As long as you follow the way she instructed, the battery can actually last for days. My i 780 battery sometimes lasts for even 4 days... and I do play games with it too...
