Christian Pitong, 19 Apr 2010I have this phone for like few weeks and really ,its a best... morewell mate, totally aggred for what u r saying.... Although the official ROM is a bit bulky but it still running very smooth and I like it very much.... I'm having official JA5 ROM and being playing with it almost 2 weeks, so far so good and give me no problem at all, installed few applications and games, functioning with no problems.... This phone is extremely recommended....

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2010May I please know if this model is an ideal phone? Does it ... moreI have this phone for like few weeks and really ,its a best buy ! I had to choose between an Iphone 3G and this one , and my choice was.. well , the Omnia II.
It's a great phone with many features , you can modify so many things and you have lots of applications that you can find on internet very easily.
The Windows Mobile 6.5 is pretty fast ! I don't have any problem reading any video I put in it (they are 480p - thats dvd quality).. browsing is smooth , the zoom is great !
There are lots of things to say about this phone , but in my opinion , if you really want a powerful phone that will last for long , choose it without any problem.
It's my first Windows Mobile phone and I'm really satisfied with it. (even there are so many people that in their opinion , W.M. is slow)
Few things to know and I tested..
The camera quality ? - For a phone ? It's great !
Video its a little bit choppy but , anyway , its the first W.M phone that can record 480p video (720x480).
Great audio recording - if you want to record something with the phone , like a concert or anything else, it's superb !
Mp3 Quality @ 192 kb/s , AMR (this one is sh*tty) or WAV.
Anyway , before buying any phone , keep in mind what you want to do with it !
If you want to buy a good phone for daily use and a lot of features , you can choose this one.. If you need lots of applications , you have to think a bit..

The meaning of Mobile Tracker is that Mobile phone tracking technology relies on the use of triangulation taking the signal strengths registered from your mobile phone at a minimum of three nearby GSM receiver masts. As the mobile phone companies know the position of each mast, and can tell the signal strength of your phone at each of these nearby masts, they can use this to calcuate your position to a certain degree of accuracy within about 50 to 100 meters. Privacy concerns are covered - to track a phone you must have permission of the handset owner to do so. The phone owner is reminded by text message after approximately one month that the tracking service is active - so it is difficult if not impossibe for someone to set up tracking on your phone without your knowledge. So who would use a service like this? Parents wanting some way of knowing where their kids are in an emergency would find this system invaluable, as would companies with sales staff on the road - to avoid the expense and disruption of having to call to find out locations, or for staff having to report back frequently. And of course for mineral collectors or other people involved in outdoor pursuits, it provides a simple way for worried people back home to find out where you are without disturbing you and without causing a panic. And if you're phone is lost or stolen, then you could get a little bit of a clue as to where it currently is but only if you've registered in advance, you can't activate tracking after you've lost your phone as you need the handset to set up the account and this phone has has that technology which is the Mobile Tracker...

My friend you can only send one file or item at a time when using bluetooth and I already went to Samsung Service Centre and they told me that my phone OMNIA II can only send one item at a time and not only OMNIA II but all Samsung phones send one item at a time using bluetooth...

There is new firmware available for this mobile from Samsung that improves the user interface and gives you the homescreen from the omnia pro. Get it now as i have fallen in love with my mobile again.

I can't delete the phone's previous settings of IDEAS MMS & IDEAS WAP.. can anyone help?? whenever i want to download, it starts connecting with IDEAS WAP which is not my country's setting...but I can browse with my setting except downloading..

this phone OMNIA II has 512mb rom in winmo 6.5 and read its specification about the Internal of this phone OMNIA II ok my friend and about Samsung B7610 Omnia I read its specification and it doesn't have 512mb rom in its Internal so I suggest go for OMNIA II...

Even this phone OMNIA II doesn't have Stereo Speakers it has "Wow HD" that makes your music loud and even your watching movies set your SRS to "WoW HD" to make your sound loud... ok my friend...

My suggestion when listening to a music try to set your SRS to "WoW HD" and it is much louder comparing to "Normal mode" and message me again if you have problesms...

Either you buy this phone or wait for a much better one like Omnia III or iPhone 4G or a 4G smartphone(WIMAX).
