I have owned this phone for 5 days and this is want I can tell you- Touch UI is amazing with vibration feed back, battery life is good, Key board is very accurate ans is to type on. Options and widgets that come pre-installed on the phone are amazing and it far surpasses blackberry and I phone in functionality

Good phone which needs fine tuning particularly regarding touch screen reliability. This however is the best WM device among HTC TOUCH HD< TOUCH PRO

jechworks
you searched for youtubeplay and download the app to you omnia and then it will work. Just a total complete different format. This is so far the best and you can save your video file first. Forget the IE or opera. This is what I suggest for this phone.

Hi there again anonymous...I did try the IE...for the youtube video..does it supposed to play default in another player or does it plays on a windows media player..? Coz it keeps playing not in the windows media player...still needs help desperately....!!

Bought the phone last week.
Looks great BUT lots of problems and no proper instruction manual...not even on the net!
Smartreader doesn't work and tries to read in Mandarin?
Google Maps doesn't work after downloading it (why isn't it or another pre-installed?)- asks for a data connection ..and the windows mobile support doesn't help..says "Access your mobile phone's list of downloads and applications and highlight Gmail"....ummmmm how? Looked everywhere....and nowhere!
Wi-Fi works, but even Samsung techies in Sydney and Melbourne can't get the internet setting to work, they say it is a windows mobile glitch and I will just have to wait for fixes and keep checking the websites until the upgrades arrive!
Files: Files show up on my PC when connected via cable, but they do not show up on the phone under file manager.
IF IT WORKED I would love the features and layout. Just DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG OMNIA2 YET...you only get half the features promised and Samsung themselves can't fix it. And if their techies in Melbourne are correct, don't buy windows mobile phones.
Now...If anyone can help me...please do so....or I may end up in in a psych ward from frustration!

I've got my OMNIA II three days ago. The initial reaction is that the phone's good.
What stands out is 'The display'.. the AMOLED is fantastic. then the sound/speaker quality is awsome. First time in my life Im impressd with the audio quality of the Branded phone.
Camera is good but at this pricepoint 8mpx is desired.
The overall experience is good so far. rest I'll let you know.
