there is no sign of proximity sensor in my phone...can anybody tell me how to activate this feature...??

Omnia 2 user can tell me how to make AM PM time in the main screen and my Omnia 2 is not rotating in sending sms message. Please help me to sort out the above problem.

Guys, after up grade my omnia 2 to wm 6.5 at (samsung care center). it eat up more rom memory than 6.1. And my gps software won't work. So i down grade back to wm 6.1. Great phone( all in one) so i advise wait for 2nd firmware that more stable to come out ^_^ good day

I lived in Indonesia and recently bought omnia 2 from Singapore.
I tried to update the OS to winmo 6.5 using NPS (downloaded through samsung singapore website). I tried it several times but always stuck in step 4 (installing the updates). Anyone know what might caused the problem.
Additional info:
I'm using XP SP3 (tried previously with SP2 also not working)
My internet connection is using proxy (would that be the root of the problem)
Any possible solutions? Thanks in advance.

Excellent multimedia tool. But no option to switch carrier data network to wifi. Same with GPS, built in GPS never works. The career controls both. Other than that excellent smart phone

sam, 24 Nov 2009 I installed SPB shell on my Omnia2 for a few days. But ... morejust upgraded to 6.5.. at 1st the phone was more laggy than 6.1, but after a few times of on/off and reboot, it runs smoothly! :) for me, 6.5 is more finger friendly, but the start menu is stupid bcuz it doesnt b arrange properly. othervise is good.

Video play back is great. Its fun watching movies on huge 3.7" AMOLED screen and 65K color limitation is hardly noticeable.
Even the battery life is very good. I easily get 3 days with heavy usage (videos, calling, music, bluetooth, wifi,etc)
I have used other phones like O2 XDA Flame, iMate Jamin, HTC Diamond, HP IPAQ. This is the best phone so far.

Can anyone tell me if the 65k colors limit in WinMo affects watching movies?
Do they look worse than other phones with 16 million colors?

But ... morehi, i got a problem with omnia 2. just used in few days. great phone! but the problem is i cannot use it as modem using the bluetooth PAN. i just can use it as modem using the usb cable which is also problematic that it was always disconnected during online, and cannot sync while using internet. my laptop cannot detect it in the Bluetooth PAN window...but can detect the phone in the Bluetooth Devices window. now i also cannot sync using he bluetooth. so stressful because we use the phone modem. i had sold the old htc and now only this phone can be use as a modem. please help....tq

I installed SPB shell on my Omnia2 for a few days. But I found that the battery drains faster with SPB shell. So finally I uninstalled it, though I like it a lot!
A lot of people here are using SPB. What is your experience guys? Any issues with battery life?
And for those who have upgraded to win 6.5 Any problems after upgradation? Happy with 6.5?
