cheated, 24 Sep 2009how do you activate the threaded SMS? It's not just me but ... morewhen u switched on threaded, the "colourfullness" of the sms function would be switched off.
there are many ways, 1 of it is to switched on the threaded function by function, d/l this program,

It's not just me but in the CNET review, the reviewer also listed the lack of threaded sms as a weakness of this phone. if it is that easy to activate it, why didn't the Samsung techincal support just tell me how to do it? It's not the sales guy but the technical support guy who told me

BUT its a bloodly WM phone. you could tweaked it as u like and there is indeed threaded function just that samsung had it switched off for its own texting progrom. I had it tweaked back easily though. now u believe in the salesman or the user?

1. file explorere --> Windows folder
2. menu --> show all files
3. tap the file "LCDtest"

Samsung PC studio is dummy software.. lot of applications nothing works perfectly.
I am a Tech guy, used Nokia previously and their pc suit is so good. I always use my notebook to connect with phone, to send sms, write notes.
Now I can't do anything with this So called smart Omnia.. sigh sigh..

I like this ppc but there are alotof work for samsung to fix problems like:
* Email: folders can not be accessed and hence you cannot use/modify x emails.
* lack of basic tools like regedit , backup, n zipping.
* documentary is not comprehensive and ought to be built in.
* some of applications does not support landscape like office and Acrobat reader(while samsung is able to use free pro version).
* why digital compass is hidden?.
