been using it for almost a week now, except for a few minor bugs wit opening and shutting down some of programs (wm6.5 pls hurry!), overall im very happy wit the phone. the lag would slowly become less annoying and acceptable after a while, it is a very powerful phone, and i haven't come to realize the full potential of this phone yet, 65k hardly an issue, picture is bright, crisp and true, speakers? well, not really the phone's asset, responsive and stable, multitasking a breeze, camera is brilliant for my standards, it is so far the best phone in my experience, a little pricey but it is for the long haul. apps store on the way now so, it will be a very exciting journey wit this phone.

I need some help. My omnia will find a hotspot but just won't connect. Whether it a secured network that I have at home or an unsecure network...it just keeps saying "connecting".
Any suggestions?

Even it has some advantages, but t... moreI owned this phone and it is great for user like me who uses wifi all the times and access information on the move. The battery life is superb compared to device i used before like HTC Touch Pro. The speed is impressive and the price is great compared to HTC in Singapore. I compared with the loading of words software with HTC Diamond 2 and Omnia 2 loads faster. Laggy in some softwares ,which most of the time caused by software, can be replaced with other software. This one thing good about WM phone.

So, it looks good -- but who (and when) will carry it in the US?
I saw some comments that hinted ATT, others say Verizon...
And release dates of Sept -- we are half way thru, and no official declaration of "ownership".

i had Omnia i900 before and i regretted, i thought the device will be awesome but the truth is it was piece of plastic so slow in fact i was big fan of Winmo until i bought it, after that i exchange it for Xperia X1 huge different.
i don't see any reason makes me believe that this Omnia will be different from the previous

Joe, I do find this phone does not support outlook funtion fully, never had this problem in my prvious wm device. Some mails come in blank. I was wondering why, wm 6.1 should not be like this. Otherwise this is a great phone.

Don't buy this phone if you need to use Outlook emails. Can't fully support Outlook funtions.....actually a failure.
