Mobilemaster, 17 Aug 2009Yes Omnia II is the competition, and Nokia will beat Samsun... moren97 competitor? have you seen some videos from you tube? i dont know about omniaII, but there´s a lot of videos among n97 and omniaHD comparing the speed for example...n97 always lose. It can be a beautiful phone, but is thicker and has a worse screen and UI. It´s not practical. I´m talking about those 2 because both use symbian OS. I like nokia, actually mine is an N82, but they didn´t figure out how to make a good touch screen phone yet. It´s not as responsive as others. If you think about it, it´s a 5800 express music with different clothing and camera. If you doubt about that, check out you tube. There´s an interesting one wich somebody open all the tasks possible in omniaHD and still works very fast.

Club_OMNIA's, 17 Aug 2009BUY IT!!! No regrets!!!Flawless Omniatory!!! Impressive an... moreYes Omnia II is the competition, and Nokia will beat Samsung on Nokia world. If I am wrong sorry! I am not intend to annoy you, but look at the N97, how great phone is that(design), and has a very big internal memory! Actually I am NOT a Nokia fan, I expect more from Samsung, I believe they can beat Nokia if they want this! They can make phones with WVGA OLED screen, they can make phones with 32GB, now this is not really new technology, I am happy in camera quality Samsung is much better than Nokia, well done Samsung, and good luck! :D

If it is true what on a previous comment have read, that MobileTracker antitheft survives from a hard reset, it is a serious plus for me to buy this phone.

That means that your phone will always be yours...I really can't understand how a hard reset doesn't influence the data you have inserted in mobile tracker...A Hard reset usually wipes out everything...Doesn't it?
I have heard that you can also send commands and retrieve the position of the phone when lost or retrieve data from it. Is it true? I think those are characteristics of Mobile Tracker 2. Anyone knows?

I read somewhere that:
"Mobile Tracker, similar to the ones on other Samsung phones, is available on Omnia II. This application allows you to preset a number that the phone will send a sms to when it detect a different simcard is inserted. What's nice is that even if the phone has been hard reset, the settings are still there! This knock off any other alternatives out there in the market!"
IS IT TRUE?????
