Widgets are supposed to be dragged out to be used.
If it's on right, it's hard to drag out with right hand.

I forgot to tell you that most people are right handed so the widget bar should be located on the right edge of the screen for closer thumb reach. Just another "bad" UI design.

Can you please find a reason why the widgets are just SOOOO BIG??And why someone cannot put any widget at the left part of the screen due to the sidebar???This is a great mistake of samsung. I can see the clock even if it is one third of the size of the current clock widget that takes ALL the screen. I can be informed about the weather without having to dominate the whole screen. Ok, I understand, it is nice and eye-candy, but it isn,t practical.
Another lack is that I would love to place my shortcuts of my best programs and files and not just what samsung offers me.
            Am I right mates??

if you were quite happy with the previous omnia 1. I don't think omnia HD's little bit bigger screen can beat all other pluses of omnia 2. If you like something new maybe try iphone 3GS or android.

Dont turn on BackLight, try not to use BlueTooth/Wifi too much; the fone can last almost 3 days.
Volumn is not as loud as on the SonyEricsson walkman fones. but was told that can bring back to service center get the engineers to increase it.
Can't get use to not having a Missed Call/Unread messages alert. Samsung should not have removed the blinking led.

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2009Why does the omnia 2 only have 65K colours compared to the ... moreThe Samsung Omnia II hardware can support 16M colors. But Windows Mobile(the OS for this phone) can only support up to 64k colors. The Samsung Jet uses the proprietary Samsung OS that can support up to 16M colors.

So basically, both phones are capable of 16M colors, but due to the limitation of the Windows Mobile OS, the Omnia II can only display up to 64k colors.
