harry , 25 Jul 2009I bought this phone in singapore airport 3 day after releas... moreI wonder if its because your used to the sensitivity of the i-phone that the omnia pro seems bad ..I had to press relativly hard on the n5800 whereas the htc touch seemed more responsive..The i-phone is using the capacitive touch whereas omnia is resistive so there will be a huge difference..IF youve had i-phone long time your brain will adapt to that level of sensitivity so it may seem harder for you to press than someone coming from the nokia 5800 say..

ruwanrsk, 25 Jul 2009what the hell's with 65 K colors.............i want a 16m c... moreFirstly the 65k debate has been said over again and again,,its that they both look the same really unless on a big tele with certain pictures colours..The screens take slightly more battery but mainly most codes etc are written in 65k colour pallete..The extra colours or hues are irrellevant unless scrutinized on a histogram chart..Most mobile screens are still at a maximun of 320 pixels so in theory if you were to grade a dark red for instance to a light red you can only use 320 shades of colour so in comparison 16.7 million colour pallette is irrelevant..I find the 262k colours my favourit but windows does not work at that 18 bit coding and 262k can perhaps not produce better colours than 65k its most likely in my head..To me 16.7 million colour screens or 24 bit seem darker on mobile fones..

hands-on@samsung showroom, Seems like there is no landscape mode for Excel, word, ppt, pdf, and sms, what a bummer!!! please correct me if i am wrong...

She said that she charges the cellphone every two or threes days with an average of 1-2 hrs of talking each day. So the battery is not bad at all. Maybe, your cellphone has a defective battery.

I bought this phone in singapore airport 3 day after release. accelerometer works in opera mobile only, and nothing else, so its basically useless on this phone. the touch screen is big and sharp, colour very vivid , but the screen responsiveness and sensitivity is one of the worst I have ever seen. I need to press down very very very hard on the screen to register a touch,please dont buy it if you dont have strong thumb. . and my finger gets very sore after long time using it. this phone received too much hype,. im not happy with it. it does handle high res high bitrate video movie very well, without any problem at all. but many of the basic apps doesnt function well on this phone. screen sensitivity is so bad that this phone is nearly unusable. be careful when you make a decision on this phone. i have a iphone, and i see a huge huge difference in usability and interface. cheers

OMG..!! This phone truly ROCKS in features...!! definitely its gonna be better than HTC's crap phones..!!! Samsung has inproved a lot... its battery life is Amazing
