Sorry, HTC Hero doesn't come with 8GB internal. The i7500 does, but most likely it will not be compatible to USA 3G yet.

That's the reason why I don't see the point of getting the i8000 even if it comes out with WM6.5 alone.
For the trade off, I would get it if it comes with an 8MP camera.
Otherwise, the HTC Hero is a pretty good deal with T-Mobile 3G compatibility, an 8GB internal storage, and a 5MP camera. But I already got an i900, and I favor WM.
Other than that option, I would have to jump to Symbiam OS with an 8MP. Nokya seems to have some form design advantage even with the N86 with phone keypad #.
This phone is definitely blah!

How about camera? I saw 5MP in some pictures and 8MP in some pictures.

What does this phone lack... moreGiven that I have an i900, I don't see how I would spend at least $600 for a WM6.1 with a 5MP camera, regardless of what small shrimps the "Omnia II" comes with (e.g. xT9, 3.5 audio, USB port, AMOLED, and etc...).
Now, if I have to buy a phone this year and I have an i900, I would go toward the i7500 for Google power over the net.
However, the HTC Hero will definitely trump in the U.S.A. with T-Mobile 3G connection T-Mobile, and a contract deal.
With the i7500 and i8000, you will most likely be stuck with AT&T.
With the Iphone, you are stuck with AT&T and a 3MP camera. However, you have safari browser but no flash.

This phone is falling way behind Symbiam OS phones that now have 8MP camera.
Android phones are now getting 5MP camera with 8GB internal storage.

Assalamu Alykum.Nowadays Samsung & LG cellphones beating everycell company.Though i use nokia N80 but i see what Korean manufacturers creating.I need devolopment and i say that in the best producing row of NOKIA,now Samsung And LG are also Hitting the nail.I wish all producers do their best and create super-turbo smartphone devices.AllahHafiz
