POET;
I would go for the HTC Touch Pro2 for one main reason. It comes with a guarantee of a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. Samsung are keeping very quiet about how they are going to deal with the upgrade coming in the next few months.
Another reason for getting the Touch Pro 2 is that the manufacturers seem intent on putting their own graphic interfaces on top of winmo (IMHO winmo 6.5 does not need hiding away). HTC's touch flow 3d is a simple clutter free interface for winmo 6.1, and is widely regarded as very good. I have no knowledge of Samsung's own 'touchwiz 2.0' interface, I have seen some video's and it seems a bit 'showy'.
In the end you have to have a bit of time to sit down and play with both phones in order to make up your mind. I would not overlook the importance of the HTC Pro 2's guargantee of a free upgrade to the OS...

Well, this is the second type of Omnia with Windows. It has all the features the first generation got but it locks monitor resolution - 65k only. Good for it, it has a model of 2gb, affordable for those PDA fanatics.

Mic, 19 Jun 2009Looks all good, but seriously, no FM radio? Omnia I has FM!... moreI have the Omnia 1 and I use the coreplayer app to play divx & xvid movies. I have never had a problem watching any movie on the omnia 1. The great thing is you don't have to covert the movies you can just load them straight onto the phone and play them in fullscreen.

Actually the worst (if correct by Samsung specs) is 262k, or 65 effective so there you go, it will look as good or even better than crappy std display in 16m color.
http://forum2.mobile-review.com/archive/index.php/t-22753.html
btw the Omnia Pro uses the exact same screen but is quoted with 16m. Who cares if it is 262k with the highest ever pixel resolution for an AMOLED screen.

Honestly tell me IF ANYONE out there can tell the difference between a yellow color pixel in 65K and 16m. Duh you all are blinded by the number which exceeds human capability.
