You cant compare LCD or even S-LCD with AMOLED an S-AMOLED. Samsung makes the best displays for mobile devices.
About the other functions...i can customize my omnia to look/feel/work as i want.

The HTC Blackstone is not only better than Omnia2 playing and video recording, at rest, the Omnia2 sucks, GPS is horrible in Omnia2, 3D drivers are not functioning well, and the OLED screen under the sunlight is ridiculous, if you want a decent phone, buy an high-end HTC, will not regret it, and stay away from the OLED screens are awful in the intense sunlight.
I had a Omnia2, I now have a Blackstone, The Omnia2 is disappointing compared to Blackstone.

tomorrow or the day after tomorrow i'll go to buy a omnia 2
i've 3 questions:
first i heard that its 16 gig has problem
when it get completely full suddenly all things disappear
second,somebody says that its touch will be weaker after some monthes and get problem
and also its resulation get low and weak
is it right?
plz answer me the person that has omnia 2 16gig

If you mean android for omnia 2, it's just an alfa release(some things work, others don't), htc is a brand not an operating system.
Best OS for omnia is wm 6.5.3.

Lawrence, 08 Dec 2010If you want to update to wp7 your omnia2, well..gooood luck... moreupdates resolves problems and issues that the manufacturer haven't possibly noticed nor determined while on the process of testing the device before they brought it to the market,so they must and have updates to improve them and they can probably eliminate these problems on their next release of mobile phones

Another thing,maybe you haven't noticed, but nokia is left behind my friend. it's easy to have N models with same operating system(symbian for nokia) and to make updates for it. but, samsung has models with symbian, android, wm, wp7 and BADA os. It's a nightmare to keep al this os's up to date. Not to mention releasing new models...besides, i said before, if they would make the perfect device, what would they sell after ???how can you improve the perfect device?

i observed and my question is that why samsung dont make phone upgrades via internet on most smartphones and the software upgrader still dont have support on windows 7,unlike nokia you can upgrade by yourself when new updates is/are available

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2010why samsung can't make it to capacitive touch screenAndroid and wp7 devices have capacitive touchscreens(galaxy,omnia7 etc). So samsung makes these devices, only wm 2003, 5, 6.1, 6.5 and 6.5.3 don't support capacitive features(pinch and zoom, multitouch etc).
