Good day.. i have this i8000 or omnia two for 4 months the only thing i hate this,when i open the messages that i received it takes 10 to 15 second before i read the messages.. pls help me what shall i do in the problem.. do i need to hard reset om my phone if does how to back up my file since i don't have memory card right now on my phone 16 gig internal memory is enough for me.pls help me how to manipulate this problem...

I've read you posts. Thanks for sharing those infos. I'll try flashing my phone later. My phone's rom is JA1. I really like the phone but i'm experiencing erratic slow touch screen response. I hope flashing my rom will solve the problem. I also want to ask if i can backup my previous rom just in case custom rom flashing will be unsuccessful.

[deleted post]Indeed, the samsung sms app is very sluggish. I'm using vito sms chat. it's faster than default sms app. With phm registry editor do this :
Edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Shell > Rai > :MSINBOX
set the following:
Name: 0
Data: SMSChat
Name: 1
Data: "\Program Files\VITO\SMS-Chat\SMSChat.exe" [DONT FORGET THE "QUOTES"]
Name: 2
Data: 0
Name: 3
Data: 0
This is if you have installed sms chat on your device. If you installed it on "My storage", just add the right path.
This is working, but easier it's to use spb mobile shell. it has al the shortcuts, and you have threaded sms view. good luck.
about the hard reset, it will only erase main memory, not the storage. But, if you want to do a back-up, use a third party app like resco back-up, sprite back-up. good luck again :)

Hello. may i ask about your opinion, i want to buy a new phone between omnia II and iphone 3gs.
Which one is better?
i like omnia II because it don;t need jailbreak thats can make your phone slower. omnia II have a better camera, great lense, etc. but there is a bad comment for omnia II
Please give me a suggestion!

Why is this happening and what can I do to get both sound and picture from my phone to the tv?

ali, 06 Oct 2010i buy omnia II today the pictures taken from its camera are... more@ aly. i also had this issue at first. i said before, you need to change some things in the settings menu. I set the ISO to 50, activated the antishake and wdr functions. with these on, i get crystal clear pictures.Better than more dedicated cameras, not to mention better than almost all similar devices. Remember though it's a phone. Pictures taken on dark are not very bright, but hey...read above :). try this and tell me if it worked out. if not maybe it's software issue. there are some modded drivers on modaco.
