I am using it for last three months. great phone but hangs oftnly, i know this is because of windows 6.1. I am from india,please can anybody tell me when i can upgrade it to windows 6.5.

when receiving MMS and tap the download it connects to internet. how to set it that i dont need to be connected to the internet? anyone, pls help

For those who want to use their omnia as a WIFI router. You can do that by installing WMWifiRouter program. I have tested it to my Omnia I-8000 and it works fine. U can download the program in omnia hub website.

for those who want to sync omnia outlook to your pc's outlook, just install active sync to your pc. It will automatically sync ur outlook messages to ur phone. You can also set the proxy setting of ur pc network to ur phone. just go to setting:connections:edit my proxy server. Enter the proxy IP address from ur network.

in the phonebook, I can't edit the label to include a perosnalized item.
is there an application that does this job.

1.) Your first question were to find the battery icon just follow my steps;
Step 1: Go to Clock
Step 2: Go to World Clock
Step 3: After going to World Clock click the icon that has a clock
Step 4: click the "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs"
Step 5: After that check again if you have already battery icon at the top of your Main Menu
2.) Your second question were to get the real icons of items below the setting just go to this site and download it if you don't have this at your winmo 6.5 and just go this site I will give to you and download it for free but you must sign up first before downloading this;

After downloading the widgets bars application in the Widget, go to the Widget Manager Setting which will be seen in the first upper of the Widget Manager, click that Widget Manager Setting then marked the Widget bar applications that you have downloade and press done after marking the Widget bar applications you have downloaded, then that's the time you will see the widget bar applications in your widet manager.

hi Omnia ii users i upgraded mine to 6.5 but there are a number of things i could not see when i compare with gsmarena screen shots and demo video .1 i cannot see the battery icon 2.i cannot see real icons of items below the setting but instead it just list them i was very much conversant with previous os but i have noticed much difference with this .its very nice and finger friendly

The mobile reception in my house is poor. My LG KM900 Arena loses signal fully when I enter my house and my HTC TYTN II signal comes down to 2 units when I enter my house. how is the signal reception of Omnia II.Is it better than LG KM900 Arena? Please advice. Will buy the phone in 2 days.

I have a problem whit install programs.
I have download some programs and when I want to
install it, it dose not install and show to me
"installation of (the program name)is unsuccessful.
I checked that and I am sure that It is windows mobile 6.1 app.and my main memory has enough space.

You you will only see the applications you have download in the Main Menu of your Windows Mobile and you will not see that in the Widget Manager and the applications you will only see in the Widget Manager are the widget bars applications you have installed in the Widgets.
