akas enigmatism, 08 Jul 2010my phone was on winmo 6.5 i really like the new feature of ... morecopy the pre-cut mp3 to My Device\Windows folder then go to the settings and select the mp3.
Please take note that you need to cut the mp3 song because it will play the whole song if you receive a message which is later on quite irritating.

I forgot to mention if it says again "error connection to update server was not available check you dataconn and ensure device date time is correct" my suggestion try going to this site;

How does this phone fair with the Samsung Jet? I mean, yes, this phone might have better features,programs, etc compared to the Jet but compared to it, does this phone perform better? (lag time, responsiveness, voice quality during calls, speaker volume, etc..)

my phone was on winmo 6.5 i really like the new feature of the system, but one thing i don't know or it can be possible..In messages alert tune it can be possible to personalize the tune co'z here is just from the system tune i can to personalize it for a changes. so if possible please teach me step by step to set it..thanks you more power samsung...

Yes! I have already tried that and the Datacon your trying to say is the Connections which will be seen in the menu of the Windows Update and just follow my steps;
Stpe 1: You must load a balance in your OMNA II first
Step 2: go to settings
Step 3: Go to System
Step 4: Go to Menu
Step 5: Go to Connections
Step 6: Check the box "Use my data plan to check for and download updates
Step 7: Wait for a moment for the Windows Update of your OMNIA II...

Here's my complete answer to your question well actually this OMNIA II has USB port and try to connect the car charger your trying to say and that's why your Windows Update is not working is that you should fixed the setting just follow my steps;
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to System
Step 3: After that go to Windows Updates
Step 4: After that go to menu
Step 5: After that go to Connections
Step 6: After that check the box for "Use my data plan to check for and download updates"
Step 7: After that click OK
Step 8: After that click Check Now
Step 9: Wait for a couple of minutes for the update of your windows...

I don't know if the car charger for your 8600 works on OMNIA II well my suggestion test it out and about the windows update you should first connect to a wireless connection before upadting your windows and wait for it to connect to a server ok bec. it will take minutes before you can connect to a server my friend..

If that's the case let us wait for Jun replies bec. he have mentioned to us that he has already upraded his OMNIA II to Winmo 6.5 in Davao and Trekman my friend if there is no upgrade my friend for winmo 6.5.3 lets just wait maybe they will released it soon bec. I have read that there will be a upgrade for winmo 6.5.3 this May 2010 and if there is no upgrade lets just wait for a couple of Months and let us wait for Jun replies...

Went there for service just last month and they told me the only update available is the wm6.5. They have no idea when the wm6.5.3 will be available.

Does a nokia 8600 in car charger work on this phone the charger has a micro USB port?
Also this omnia has a windows update option does not connect to server? any reasons for this
