Disable your 3G and just use 2G. It is slower but you can live with that. Check www.bukisa.com/articles/221667. Life is good. Enjoy it to the fullest.

I bought a connection package from T-Mobile with the Internet option enabled. The phone that I have is an Omnia II I-8000 Win Mob 6.5 I have purchased the phone in Europe Greece and it is unlocked. T-Mobile tech support asked me to contact Samsung to learn the technical details I should input manually into the internet connectivity tab so I can connect to their internet network. T-mobile does not sell this phone.
The normal usage of the phone as a means of voice communication is unhindered by the internet connectivity problems. It seems T-mobile does not have a clue on windows mobile phones

Step 1: Open your wifi and connect to a wireless connection.
Step 2: Go to the widget bar
Step 3: Click the Google from the widget bar
Step 4: There you will see Google Maps and Google Mail, click the Google Maps

You can get your winmo 6.5 in Samsung Service Centre in your Country and let them upgrade it, just bring your warranty card so that you will not pay for the additional charges for the upgrade of winmo 6.5 in your smartphone OMNIA II in Samsung Service Centre...
