trony, 24 May 2010Hi to whom concrning specially dear samsung 4 life is t... moreI got one of these phones in Saudi with the 16Gb memory about 3 weeks ago for about SAR 2,099 (US$ 559)... Everything fine for about 6 days then the phone got really slow and that’s when I found that the 16Gb memory "My Storage" had just vanished. Took it back to the store where I bought it and they told me to take it some somewhere else for service… I said NO!! I want a new phone or money back… They reluctantly handed over a new device and its been okay so far… however I am waiting for it crap out like the first one. I have since did some research on the net and it seems like this is a common problem with this phone. I should have bought an iPhone.

Maybe you should wait for a little bit longer bec. even in UK country and in Middle East there is not yet upgrade for Winmo 6.5.3 in Samsung Service centre

You don't need to install Nimbuz and Fring in order for you to download Skype and you can automatically download Skype in your phone OMNIA II without downloading the Nimbuz and Fring in your phone OMNIA II.

You cannot delete the not-used files such as russian and german language files, not-used programs like QIK, Opera, Dics, and not-used sound files e.g. LCDtest, 1KHz etc. and you can only delete applications which you have installed to your phone OMNIA II but the other applications that is already built-in in your phone OMNIA II you cannot delete them like Opera, QIK, etc...

Answer: No! when you upgrade your phone it actually speed up your cpu performance and it upgrades your phone by adding new features for you to enjoy
2- is it wright that "my storage" disapeared
do you advice to purchase
Answer: No! it doesn't dissapear and I will explain it to you so that you will understand it well, when you put the USB cable on your phone OMNIA II connecting to a computer it reads the Storage Card so you will only see the My Storage but when you removed the USB cable you will see again the Storage Card ok and it will not dissapear...

I'm looking at clearing more memory space by deleting the not-used files such as russian and german language files, not-used programs like QIK, Opera, Dics, and not-used sound files e.g. LCDtest, 1KHz etc.

Heres my complete answer to your question but first I forgot to mentioned are you talking about how to delete a apllication not a file on your Main Storage? just follow my steps;
STEP 1: Go to Settings
STEP 2: Go to Memory Settings
STEP 3: Go to Main Storage
STEp 4: After that delete the applications you want to delete so that you can have free space on your Main Storage then press done

When you go to Samsung Service Centre and upgrade your phone OMNIA II to winmo 6.1 to winmo 6.5 bring your Warranty Card so that you will not pay for the service for the upgarde of your phone OMNIA II to winmo 6.1 to winmo 6.5...

yes! it has threaded SMS and just follow my steps;
STEP 1: Go to Message
STEP 2: Click the icon near the inbox
STEP 3: After that click the menu and tap the Conversation, after that tap the Enable Threaded SMS View then press done and after that you will see the threaded SMS

STEP 3: Go to Menu
