You want 8Gb memory? OK, remove Android because that uses up some of the memory. Then remove Touchwiz, because that uses memory as well. Then you will have close to 8Gb memory. You won't be able to make calls, send texts, use the camera or do anything else because you won't have an OS. You people really don't think, do you?

There is very little to choose between the two, but the S2+ wins on a slightly faster CPU, higher res camera, and a slightly better video chipset; but the S3 Mini is cheaper if price is important to you.

A very nice phone, but a bit disappoint to find out only around 4.5gb of usable storage space, despite claiming to have 8gb.

                          @ freefaller
                          Hi!
I wanted to buy an upper mid range Samsung device. Kind of confused between S3 mini & S2 plus. I want to use the device for usual purposes as well as for a bit of gaming. I am well aware that both of them are not gaming devices, but would like to know which is better among the two, when it comes to the matter of playing good graphics games such as GTA 3, GTA Vice city, Modern Compact 3, Max Payne, Asphalt 7, FIFA 12, Need 4 Speed Most Wanted etc as well as the casual games. Is S2 plus' Broadcom VideoCore IV GPU better than S3 Mini's Mali-400 GPU. Is seems that Broadcom GPU is getting better benchmarks than Mali-400 GPU, but that's not the case when it comes to the real gaming performance. What's your opinion???????

Why are you going the long way round? A little tip for you (and everyone else).
Pull down your notification bar at the top of the Home screen. See those icons? Press down on one for a second to go to the settings for that item. e.g. Press down on 'Mobile data' and go straight into the settings. No need to go via Settings/More settings/Mobile networks. The same works for sound.. GPS... Power saving etc.

simply turn off your mobile data by going to setting and click on wireless network>>mobile data then untick the packet data. And u r gud to go.
