AnonD-85577, 22 Jan 2013all smartphone batteries are the same . charging once a day... moreI have Galaxy Note, and have bought the 5000mAh battery from china. And I lost my charger before Christmas, so I spent about 20 days on both the original & the additional battery mentioned above (total of 7500mAh). They were full few days before Christmas and when I charged it again on 9th of Jan, I've drained the original to about 10%, but the 2nd battery was still over 30%. Of course I haven't used it much (basically only as a phone) for that period because I knew I might have to save energy.
But it still means that if you turn of energy consuming options that you don't use, and use it as a phone, it can last about a week on the original 2500mAh battery.
Of course if you use it all day heavily , you'll have to charge it in the evening, but it still haven't died on me before the end of the day.

through any of the available software in the market

I was expecting better specs than S2, but seems S2 has better specs than S3 mini. Use "compare" tool and check results by yourself.
