Samsung galaxy S II, Sony Xperia P, Sony Xperia S, HTC one S are having better specs and features with lower prices as compared to this mediocre Galaxy S3 mini. why would samsung chose to name this S3 mini is bewildering and it is only to fool around people in order to buy an inferior phone so that they can make better margins!

Google latest flagship
Nexus 4 ( 8gb vers)= £ 240.

the Xperia p has almost exactly the same specs and it looks better and its made of aluminum and (in my country) it's $200 cheaper! this doesn't deserve the 's' name.

Samsung going mad - an under qualified phone Does not have the auto brighness control, 1GHZ Dual Core with Single Core Mali 400MB GPU costs 27K, which is inferior to the S2 that has 1.2GH Dual Core, Mali 400 Dual core GPU which costs 25K In India. And S3 Mini Costs just 5-7K less than S3
Samsung, Please say a justification why should people go for S3 Mini instead of S3 just to get a Handy 4 Inch Screen. Ridiculous...

That's not expensive it's brilliant value for money. Where this wins over the GS2 is the improvements in power management giving better battery performance. It's not all about the hardware specs but about the back ground improvements that make our phones last a little but longer between charges.

Sammy should know better that power hungry Chipset "Novathor U8420" has already outdated for the current season smartphone.
This days public are more alerted than the electronic gadget manufacturers.

Johnnie, 20 Nov 2012Hi guys, tough call here, need a hand. What should I choose... moreIf it has to be a 4" screen then the galaxy advance s is much better value with micro SD for extra storage (SIII mini is silly money for what you get - read the slating it's getting).
If you can go to a slightly bigger screen then get the galaxy SII and upgrade to Jelly Bean.
Go into any shop and have a play with the SII and SII to see if they are too big.
I was waiting for the SIII mini, but the spec says this is not an option now at around £300. I can get the SII, Galaxy S Advance and SIII for a lot less on an upgrade.
