If you are using the inbuilt 'Music player' app then load it and press the left soft button and select 'Settings'. Then press the top option - 'Sound alive', and select a different equalizer.

Rooting your phone is not going to help you read a USB drive; and if you need teaching how to root then you should leave things alone. Rooting your phone will also leave it open to virus's and trojans. Just accept that the S3 Mini doesn't have the capability to read external drives.

Flashing a custom ROM onto your phone won't solve the problem. The only way to achieve what you require would involve rooting your phone and flashing a modified kernel onto it; but take my word for it that nobody has modified the kernel to do what you are asking. You will just have to accept that you cannot connect a USB flash drive to the S3 Mini.

I'm 100% sure that you can't. My main phone is a Galaxy S3 and that supports OTG, but the S3 Mini does not.
There are some sellers on ebay selling OTG cables for the S3 Mini, don't be fooled into buying one, it won't work.

If by 'Pen drive' you mean a USB memory stick then the answer is NO. This phone does not support OTG cables. It has to be written into the kernel and this phone does not have that capability.
