the battery is getting better. i think it's just because the battery is new and needs to get going :)

New nons top video time using same settings is 5hr 21 minutes so its about the same..the extra six minutes is not much be could equte to an extra half hour standby??
Next up i am fully charging it up and trying a non stop mp3 test..i will start it off tonight and i know its good for 11 hrs so will be up by then..

It is good use OS install more than Nokia no good because all time crash and easy breaker about 3 to 6months
Samsung really good never crash all time i am enjoy with it :)

Remember that this test is a general flat out test and innov8 lasts longer than 5hrs 15 mins obviously,, its just some folks may think it only lasts 5hr 15mins..

this is some of the files that were corrupting my 16gb hc micro sd card their were over 30 of them ,,

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2009brynn where are u , what happened , and did u put the back ... moreHi,,i kept the backlight on full blast till the unit was fully charged and it took 2hrs and 25 minutes of pressing a button to keep backlight on all the time..This was after the 6 hr charge in fact all i did was what you said..So whats happened?? well i backed up "all" to my 16gb card and on putting back in the phone the card wont work so i have to get some files off it that were causing the corruption..I have had alot of trouble with the card but its been in my n82 then formatted for xperia then formatted for innov8 i think it was corrupt from the start so getting a new one..I have not had time to put any files back on innov8 till now and this is what i intend to do for starters:put drifters video back on using same settings and see if it lasts longer than 5hrs 15 minutes then other tests later..Remember that this test is a general flat out test and that it lasts longer than that obviously its just some folks may think it only lasts 5hr 15mins..
I have been using xperia today and innov8 i took off full charge 6am this morning and its recieved 2 multimedia messages and is still on 7 bars..will put a reply before bed or wwhen innov8 runs out on video drifters test..
P.S. i use drifters cause everyone should have it on their fone so i am not using any odd formats etc..

Also am I better off with PF or AF focus?

I had this phone since last week and would like to comment on battery life. First time i charged it, AWFUL! lasted me less than 24 hours, so i threw it back in its box switched off. I searched online for this problem as reviews were saying it has good battery life. many have same problem, bad battery lasting only 24 hours.
But, i decided not to give up yet! i charged the phone whilst swtiched off. Fully charged and started to test the handset.
I factory reset the handset on Sunday. At first am testing its ability to hold charge on standby, last time it gave up in single day with minimal use. This time after factory reset, its only lost 2 bars. been on for 5 days since i charged it.
I did same test with LG renoir, it lasted me 8 days with minimal usage. see how this one goes. I will later test for continous camera, music/video playback and let you know how it goes.
to sum up...
1) let battery die out, dont switch off handset.
2) leave handset off for a day.
3) charge battery whilst phone is off
4) Turn on phone, factory reset the phone and away you go. see how long it lasts.

I've got one. It has 3.5mm jack. It has lens shutter (far better than cover on my old N95P. It has 8MP, far better than 5mp on N96. It has optical mouse, so you can browse webpages better. And then you get into the software (wrist-flick screen change from portrait to landscape, OCR scanning from camera, etc etc)
AND you get a full set of extras (car mount, etc). Plus things like free access to navigation software.
AND ... it is about half the price. ka-ching

Hi everyone, my question is if this phone has support for Exchange Server. I currentely use a Nokia E71 that supports Exchange through Mail for Exchange from Nokia... If Samsung i8510 does not support Exchange, can I install Mail for Exchange form Nokia, due that it has a Symbian OS v9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2... If not, any sugestions? Thanks

Hi innv8 user,now i8510 isn't samsung flagship anymore coz new i8910 ready to roll! It has 8mp cam,hdmi support! WVGA vid rec n probably will run on s60v5 symbian touch ui like n97 or 5800xm! This will destroy n97,x1,htc touch hd n other flagship vendor! Congrats samsung!

I hv used this phone for 2 month, this phone really good!! the camera is better than sony c905!trust me cos i already compare the picture quality!I m not samsung fans, But this time I really hv to thanks samsung for making this best phone for us!!i love this phone very much!!!
