Let's face it even my Computers, Home entertainment system, LCD Tv also has dust, it's everywhere and it's a fact. My previous phones SonyEricsson's K800, K810 and G900 had dust and I lived with it in fact it's even worse than my Innov8. So don't think too much just get the phone if you really like it. Just Do It. Beside's you may even chage phones when newer models come out.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009i like this fone but its chunky and very expensive!!!Chunky I don't think so try looking at most of the touchscreen phones out there they're wide as well. But if you think that camera, Mp3 player, organiser, mini computer are all in this phone and running at a very face pace with good build than it is a small package. Chunky try looking at N95 and N96 and they are one of the top phones around.

For all of you out there thinking the Innov8 battery is 1000Mah. I'm afriad you got it wrong including myself. I brought my phone to the Samsung Service Centre and complained, the technician came out to explain that the 1000Mah printed on the Battery means minimum power. So you can't use batteries with less than 1000Mah. He than took out a device and showed me that it is a 1200Mah battery. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if you can have custom ringtone for alarms with this phone? I'm trying to decide between this one, Nokia 5800 XM or a HTC Touch HD now...

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009Yeah I know , I was shocked to know its only 1000 mAh , bec... morei got a 1350 mA battery from gps for less for the original n95-1 and that worked for twice as long and more..I am going to write to this place plus data kits both in uk i think who supply these batterys and that n95-1 battery was superbly built too,,not cheap and dodgy like the extended battery i got for n80 which was 1000mA but was worse than nokias own battery lasting only 2hrs talktime..I love the innov8 even tho it will be while before we get more nokia type software ported to innov8 but willing to splash out £20 for an extended battery i.e. 1500mA +..

nick, 03 Feb 2009i will go as far as to say, the battery on this is about ha... moreYeah it is half the n95 because the n95 has a 5 mega camera and less things , but it has 1200 mAh battery , thats why I was mad shocked when I found out its only 1000 mAh , ok ppl there is a way to make the battery better its like this , do a format (backup first ) then use the phone until the phone turns off , then take out the sim card and charge it 6 h , after that put your sim card and turn it on , and go to the back lights setting and turn it to max , then put the charger back on again and try to press any key so the back lights doesnt close until you get the phone is fully charged and the lights are on , thats it try it and tell me the result , alot of ppl did it and they got more than 2 days with only one charge with .

i will go as far as to say, the battery on this is about half as long as my n95! it really is shocking.
i really hope something is wrong with my phone because it is ridiculous. it's also a shame because the phone is so good

Hi, I just bought the innov8. Was just wondering if it's normal for the envelope icon to keep blinking in the standby mode even though there ain't any msgs?? sigh...it's irritating~~

I have searched for this battery and it says its only 1000mA so they should release and extended battery i think o0f 1500 mA.I was surprised to see it at this rating and could explain the battery length even tho its good for a day..

I've problems with create a new folder in gallery and copy or cut function doesn't work to move those photo or pics into the new folder. I read some suggestion to manage it by gallery via camera button (other gallery view/access). Does anyone know other option?
Other problem is, some times the contacts won't work right. Incoming call list as number (Ex: +6281xxx) in fact, these number was in my contact. So when i add those unidentified number to create or add new contacts, i realize that those was same number (+6281xxx same with 081xxx in my contacts list. Does anyone have same problem with me and what is the solution?
The last question is about sending message to multiple contacts (i mean 20++ contacts), because if i want to send more than 2o contacts the text message automatically change to multimedia
