Anonymous, 11 Oct 2008took the phone used it for 2 days and sold it back again...... moreas far as camera is concerned i have been on a independed web site which compares photos quality and the innov8 came out on top with the n82 in second place i must addmit there was not much in it but innov8 did come out on top and the test was done in all different conditions indoors outside close ups zooms and so on and they say photo quality will even get better with firmware updates also there was some awards the other week in london and innov8 won best the camera award

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It's so sad since Samsung Innov8 was posted as #1 phone rated on gsmarena.com with design, features, and performance average of 8.8 just 5 days ago. All of a suddon the ratings drops!! Hmmm.. It does show we have some Butthurt Nokia fans. I'm not a fan of any mobile phone company and I give props to whoever gives out an all-in-one device with good features and design. But I dont bash a good phone beacause I got its competition AKA N96 AKA A Joke or simply beacasue I can't afford it. Don't hate, congradualte! Much props to samsung which I personally didn't like any of their phones after D500 for giving out the #1 phone in the world. It's funny that a company other then Nokia that owns Symbian has a better Symbian phone. LOL!

The keypads are comfortable for me and they're not hard to press. =)

But you should start giving alot of credit to Samsung with their postion in market. As far as I know they start gettign a head of Nokia keep making N series and other cheap phone during year 2008. You talk about bad Battery life. I owen 2 Nokia E66 and I have to charge the phone twice a day and not talking about how bad camera is. I had N82 and I did sell it right away sicne it was bad looking phone and could not get use to a sardin look can which N82 look like and not easy to use the push bottoms.
I can not believe Nokia has not even introduce one touch screen phone when IPHONE came out 2 years ago. Hopethe Nokia 5800 is god with no problem. Nokia introduce N96 after N95 but preformance of N95 beter than N96 after more than year N95 in market.
My two Nokia E66 has been in Nokia Shop so far two times for software of mechanical problem. I still believing Nokia but they are putting me down. I have Samsung Omnia and i have no problem so far.

Hi i m using this phone 4rm last 2 weeks.there is no problem in it.but nw i wan 2 buy nokia n82.

took the phone used it for 2 days and sold it back again...reasons...1) poor battery had to charge it twice ia a day.. 2)camera 8 mp but not good at all in zoom mode its useless clicking a snap..functions and menu seems like a copy of nokia N series phones..cause it a symbian phone.. 3)phone is heavy compared to a nokia N82.. 4) no xenon flash for such an expensive phone..with 8mp..which screwes up snaps taken in dark... 5)photo clarity is poor and below average..not even at par with nokia N82.. 6

Does anybody know how to set the missed message alerts for this phone? It seems to have a lot of fancy things on it but not the basics like, no showing for missed call/message; no alert for missed call/message.

insaneman, 11 Oct 2008i have to agree battery life is not as good as i was hoping... moreme again on battery life like i have said below not as good as i was hoping for but would put it on par with the nokia n95 which i owned before getting the innov8 i have also read the n96 as shorter life than n95 and while on the subject also read camera on n96 also not as good as n95insaneman

anna, 10 Oct 2008unfortunately battery life is awful, I charge it twice in a... morei have to agree battery life is not as good as i was hoping for but charging twice a day what are you doing with it? i use my mp3 player or radio when on my rounds (i am a postman)also browsing wap most days and still only charge once a day when i go to bed the only time i might have to charge more than that is if i leave fring application on which is using wap or wi-fi

willee, 10 Oct 2008ermm can any1 tells me , how long can the batt last in a 24... moreI am having problems with the battery life. it lasts less than a day. I am not using 3G or any of the wireless functions and all settings are tuned for power saving. Does any one have same prblems?

Can the flash be used as a flashlight like the omnia? Is flash used when video recording too?

this phone is good..i have try it already..keypad easy to press..camera quite good..take picture very fast..but the problem is the zooming of it..very blur..not clear..
