@ prince,,also turn off wlan or it will drain battery plus turn off 3g,,if you keep trying internet and it keeps searching in 3g mode it will kill your battery

Next settings,,connection,,access points,,options,,new access point and put in your settings you were given..save if option is their,,,Now try internet...

Phone Freak, 02 Oct 2008I had the same problem. you have to set a GPRS access point... moreim not looking for wifi access points.. im just looking to get my settings in so i can actually use my phone for more then 3 hours in a day! lol and if that is not what is killing my battery then ima just give the phone away and take the loss cause it's pointless to have a phone that doesn't last half a day

philm, 02 Oct 2008@ prince,,,I have read your post several times and understa... morehey philm.. yes i called my service proveder and they have given me the settings,, but the phone itself does not give me the option to put settings, there is no list the comes up when i go into connection settings or pretty much tried everythign to put something in this stupid phone.. so if anyone is interested $600 canadian and it's yours!

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2008have you ever used symbian?? acces points can be set in: se... moreyes i understand how the nokia software works.. only reason why i got this samsung cause it has the nokia software!! so if anyone is understanding what i am saying i understand where the settings are and the acess points are but it doesnt give me anyyyyyy options to set an access point!!! says must define a access point click "ok" so i click ok.. then says "unable to set an access point" so there for nothing has been set into the phone.. either by samsung or by whoever unlocked the phone!? yes ./ no?

Trust me I have had a N95 8GB before & an iphone and this phone blows both of them away as far as media goes. Video quality is perfect, music quality is perfect. I have coded Divx videos at 3000KBS and it playsback without any lag both on phone and on TV-out cable connected to TV.

I am on voda uk and you get their settings from themselves or via the built in wizard or via an mms shortcode or in the back of what mobile mag,,i an sure if you go to a legible shop or email rodgers they should go above the call of duty to get you your settings,,,with not being in Canada i dont know what shops are their but if i went to carfone in uk even if i did not buy from then they would still help,,do you have any mates that are on same network to pinch the settings????
Yes the the dotted 2 lines means no internet connection as the 2 lines go full you are using internet but as a txt,,mms or voice call is coming in whilst your on internet a straight line cuts thru the 2 arrows ..it also gets the line thru 2 arrows if you lose the signal...
try this first go to settings,,connections,,access points and list should appear if not then their are no connections at all..

has anyone used this phone as a media player...? if yes how good is it..? because i 've read in a review of it, that due to lack of dedicated graphics memory its video playback is poor....

Asad, 01 Oct 2008Camera Sucks Guys camera performance of Innov8 is nth in... moreThe C905 camera is just 0.1mp higher but the camera performance for the INNOV8 was brilliant. I have had a hands -on with it.(I can swear.)The Dual LED flsh was absoulutely bright.It was equivalent to the Viewty.

prince, 01 Oct 2008question hopefully someone can help me.. this phone came wi... morehave you ever used symbian?? acces points can be set in: settings-connectin-access points-optons-define new access point. here you can choose a wlan at (data bearer menu)or make manual settings of the provider. but the provider must can send the internet settings through sms. the sms must contain automatic settings of access points for web,mms and streaming video. the streaming video is memorized automatically at "real player" settings. i am on vodafone romania and this settings work exccellent with symbian devices
