Anonymous, 01 Sep 2008in my opinion, n85 still beats this innov8. 8mp is not real... morethe samsung as much more than just 3meg of camera campared to nokia also plays divx vidoes which you can now stream to other divices which i believe you can not do with nokia so no more burning films just save them to you phone and stream can not see any reason why you should not be able to stream using you xbox360 or ps3 but could be wrong

Before you go rushing out to place orders guys, bear in mind I ordered mine on Friday from mobiles.co.uk (on Orange, as it's on a 1 week exclusive with Orange before 02 ship) and I have had an email to say that the stock is not yet available.
I called them today and they said they hope to dispatch it on Thursday but thats still not certain. Not a happy Chappie.

carphone warehouse online has the 16gb version in stock to orange tariffs, mobiles.co.uk has the 8gb on orange and o2.

Do you think 8MP is all about mobile phone? Check the functionalities, durability, ease of use, etc. Digital Cameras are made for taking photos but not mobile phones. Any photo taken by mobile phones are just temporary use as the phone can get lost easily. How many people uses computer for storage photos that consumes memory? Nokia Phones are best in internet surfing than other mobile phones, etc. Mind your post on this GSM Arena in terms of your critcism. Criticise educationally, using your understanding of Economics or Commerce. We should give kuddus to Nokia in their mobile phones and also gives kuddus the rest mobile phones manufactures.

I am not fighting against Samsung for no reason. Soon you will realize that what I'm writing here are true, if you buy one of their products.
I am speaking in the behalf of the millions of people who became victims of Samsungs wicked practice. Who cried for injustice and pain of losing their hard earn money in exchange to low grade products that easily broke.

There are camera phones with CCD lens. I can name few Sharp and samsung 3.2mps which takes excellent pics.

Well, either way, whether u will buy the fone or not its up to individual taste.
i find it that its still too early to say n95 beat this fone or vice versa.... lets wait 4 the review 1st.
the specs r nice, but the size is not :D:D

Camera phone dont use CCD sensor....only digicam...so all mobile phone use CMOS sensor...
This phone is very great in pictures but in video it suck so much...LG can do more than this when it comes to camera..........

I don't agree on that. Samsung phones are costly when it is released. True. However the price drops to much less than those Nokias in a month. Samsung S60 is more affordable than nokias. And as long as they get licensed S60 from nokia, I don't expect the UI to improve. They will give Nokia a run when symbian becomes royalty-free, which is going to happen soon. Cheers!

this phone looks gr8,and the features are very promising,but after having experience with my two faulty samsung in just a few months of using it,i promised to myself that never buy samsung mobile again.nokia is much be8r make atleast for me.

in my opinion, n85 still beats this innov8. 8mp is not really that much of a great feature. innov8's s60 user interface is very dull and i wonder if you can install same applications that can be installed in nokia's s60. it's an ugly, huge slider compared to the almost-perfect n85. innov8 won't pass the taste of the masses. the big difference between innov8 and n85 is the price. innov8 almost has the same features of n85, but its price is almost double the price of n85 for an added 3 megapixel in the camera which don't make justice. samsung's non-smartphones cost the same as nokia's high-end smartphones and samsung's smartphones cost twice as much as nokia's. point is, nokia still comes up with so much better phones. why trust samsung when they release their very first flagship smartphone. nokia n85 is the evolution of nokia's slider smartphones in years. it's definitely more feature-packed, a lot better, and a lot more affordable than innov8. the only benefit you can get from innov8 is the added 3 megapixel in the camera in the expense of almost twice the price as n85. while n85 almost has everything in its sleek, classy dual slider casing at a very affordable price.
