I wouldn't totally define the INNOV8 as an N96 killer, because to be a 'killer', the phone would have to be in the same class [the INNOV8 and N96 are, in fact, in the same class] but the 'killer' phone has to have mass features over the competition.
The INNOV8 has a better camera and 5.1 Surround Sound.
And, if the INNOV8's camera quality is poor, then it will not be the N96 killer, because then the N96 will have a better camera, and all the stuff it already has that is better: speaker placement, multimedia keys, HSCSD,
NGage, live TV, an RSS reader*, faster GPRS and EDGE, microUSB [which is better than the INNOV8's Samsung USB], the N96 is more compact [N96 is 92cc, but the INNOV8 is about 98cc], A2DP for Bluetooth** and stereo FM radio***.
*I'm not sure if the INNOV8 has an RSS reader in its browser or not.
**I'm not sure if the INNOV8 has A2DP or not.
***I'm not sure if the INNOV8 has stereo FM radio like the N96 or not, but I know it has FM radio.
All the INNOV8 has over the N96 is better camera features.
Any other features the INNOV8 has, the N96 has also, but the N96 has a bunch of features that the INNOV8 does not.

the samsung is the first company in the world introduced the 8MP camera kit for mobiles. After that The SE announced the c905. There is no greate of se. All the credit goes to samsung.this is the best mobile than which are the other symbian phones. accelerometer for rotating, this best feature in this i8510 INNOVATE. 16m colors, optical mouse are also good. Samsung is the leader in mobile. B coz its maintains the quality than other mobiles.this is the excellent phone. Its exactly n96 killer.

About the Omnia: i think 469 euros isn't expensive, compared to 780. Don't know why they sell it at 1000 on some sites, but I'm gonna get one from italy, mediaworld, witch is way more cheap ;)

Samsung have trully out done its self.I mean comparing this to the SE C905 is almost like Neo fighting a thousand Agent Smiths in matrix 3.(BTW INNOV8 iz the agent smiths).
