Yes, XXIB2 is the best firmware right now. I tried others but this one seems to work the best.
It has English , which although I am Dutch I use english in my internet work.
Tips for improving battery life
1. Turn off Themes effects
2. Turn off optical joystick
3. Install Jbak Taskman and when running turn off 'screen capture''
4. To exercise the battery, run a movie or music in repeat mode until the battery is completely empty, then leave phone off and recharge fully using the AC charger instead of the trickle USB charger.

i'm using a euro ... moreOff the top of my head I can't quite remember the firmware version and I don't currently have my Innov8 with me (repair centre - don't ask!!!)
I'm pretty sure XXIB2 is the version you need, but hopefully Dirk, Irvinehooi or one of our other resident Innov8ers are lurking around and can confirm this??

are you talking about this firmware version? I8510XEHI5?
i went on http://samsungi8510.com/forum/samsung-i8510-innov8-firmware-discussion.html and there seems to be a lot of different versions.
as you can tell, im new to this stuff. this is my first phone that's had this type of capabilities. my last phone was just a phone, for talking/texting (period).

can somebody tell me why is this fone on Business chat here in South Africa.I was acticipating it arrival only to be disapointed as its on business chat and i cant afford cos its around R 800-R1100.00 a month can you belive that

You are right so go back to IBB2., that is ... moreHi, thanks for the advice. Actually my firmware version still I8510DJHI1. Currently no plan to upgrade yet. Because I didn't face any problem with this firmware other than audio/video sync issue.
About the battery life, my INNOV8 just gave me about 6 days of stand-by time for minimum usage. Up to 3 to 4 days battery life for average usage. Unless I use camera / video recorder a lot then it will consume a lot of battery life.

Hi just want to ask you all, using the AC adapter to charge the INNOV8 faster or using the USB data cable charge faster ???
Did anyone tried to full charge the phone using USB data cable ?? How long will it takes compare to AC adapter ?? Please advice, because I'm planning to buy one of the item extra for me to use it at different place.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2009Edit: I8510ZXIE1 (May 2009) and not solvedHi, I've read the post and found out that the latest firmware version I8510ZXIE1 (May 2009) still not yet solved the video/audio sync issue and also it has calendar problem.
1. VerySoft NiceLight (Flashlight App) does not work using the Camera LED anymore.
2. Calendar Entries only show up ON THE DAY of the event, and not a number of days before.
