This phone doesn't support 3D Java(J2me) files!!!
Recently, I've been trying to install some 3d java(J2me)games (.jar file format)in my samsung innov8 but so far, none of them are working properly... for instance, I've downloaded & installed the 3D Need for Speed Undercover.jar in my phone but when I've tried to run the game there were no 3d graphics appearing in the screen then I had an unexpected error as the handset told me that there is not enough Java memory! This is really very disappointing cause according to this handset's specs, it supports Java MIDP 2.1 ,has 3D Graphics Accelerator and even comes with a massive storage...btw, mine is 16gb; Another odd thing about this handset is that it even comes with a pre-installed symbian 3d game (.sisx/.sis file format) but can't even make a 3d java game run properly??? why is that so? Is this a software problem? Does anyone here experienced the same as mine? Can someone please help me troubleshoot my handset and give me some feedback regarding this issue...thanks!

Just finished 2 days of testing with new firmware.
Started with full battery
1. 45 minutes of talking on phone.
2. Drove from Netherlands to a town in Germany using Route66.
3. Took about 100 photos
4. Listened to 2 hours music.
Watch a couple of short YOUTUBEs
Result,
Down to 3 stripes with plenty left.

Yes the sound quality is astounding from those small speaker.
Since I upgraded the firmware the camera is much better and faster.
I took some MACRO photos of my roses (about 2 inches away)
My neighbor who is a professional photographer was astounded when I showed him the photos.

the sound quality and loudness is much higher than n95 trust mei have this phone but camera is not really looking like real 8 mega pixel but its still good and.....

I love my Innov8 and its worth the 30 euros a month contract with 300 free minutes talk and unlimited 3G internet access for 2 years.
That is in the Netherlands.

to person on rotating images,,i can do anything with pictures on my laptop like rotate them its standard in basic image apps..
The blur will occur in most cameras if you move quickly but nave had no problem..
I had g600 and miss the stage and concert settings in mp3 player and these are not in innov8 or u900 either???? sick of going up the range and mobiles missing features,,what happened to sonic wellnes,,tracker,,active themes as these are samsung copyrights they should use them all the time in their fones....
I have been videoing more than photography and if i choose slo-mo video and then go to to say play some music and come back to video the setting has gone to mms setting..
Been getting some nice themes off zedge using n95 as fone cause theirs no innov8 themes yet..They work fine its just the usual colour clashing in some apps i.e. in webb the top download bar is white and so is theme so its invisible..

has anyone got sms accelerater to work..i just get certificate error.At the website it says to check sofware installation set to ALL and certificate check to OFF ..Done that plus have wound back the date to 2006/2007/2008 ..Hve also downloaded txt to speech and bluetooth keyboard but the same errors persist..The site for sms accelarater does say innov8 in compatibility list..Thanks for ant tips.

all photos taken with INNOV8 by default are saved to the internal 8 GB memory.
I used the email function more than SMS because I have unlimited internet plan for 5 euros a month. 3G
What is nice about the camera is you can take a photo and send it immediately via email within the application.

hi all
i have g600 and thinking of upgrading to this phone when the summer promotions kicks in and seeing all the hype about 8 and 12 mp cameras, touchscreen phones, etc etc, they might get a nice discount here
well, im slightly disapointed with the samsung g600 and want to know a couple of things:
-do the pics still come very blurry if you shake just a little bit? 5mp g600's camera sucked at this
-can you rotate the pictures taken with the Innov8, in your laptop/desktop at home? in G600 i couldnt grrr
-do you have probs with long incoming sms? in g600 long sms came broken and couldnt read them :S
-do most camera/video settings automatically go to default even after u change them? in g600 i have to constantly reset my saved photos/videos to memory card, reset flash/resolution/etc settings, coz they always go back to default argh

solid as a rock .......best music player, battery (since firmware), GPS, and speakers.
This one is a keeper.
