WAyhey,,all done all updated and my video is still their..Goodness me its scary,,it jammed at 27% and could do nothing so had to take out battery as absolute lat resort..Started again thank goodness but stuck at 36% ,last attempt it went all the way ..ITS still only january software even tho i am sim free..Time to start enjoying fone but must test video syn operation is cured..Will report later..I did think it had developed a new fault it seemed so unstable with the options jumping all over ,,what had actually happened was the optical joystick was reactivated in update proccess ,,that was another scary point..

I've saved a few versions and none of them work? Does it depend on your country? None of them include South Africa as an option. Thanks.

if i back up fone to memory card and samsung pc studio will it keep/store the licence key so after update can play drifterz video..Have searcged and googled for 2 hrs now hut no answers ,,really thanx

You learn something new everyday,,ive spent 3 hrs getting latest samsung pc studio working..Was using one i got on cd with innov8 but out of date so needed the new one..IT kept saying fatal error,,then you must run as administrator,,then remove old version then it said it would overwrite old version...Anyway i got it d/loaded and at last its got updater symbol on it ,,phew ,,i never had that trouble with nokia..
Now i am taking every bit of data off fone before updating because dont trust anything anymore no matter what it promises..I do not want to lose licence key like last time had innov8 for drifters video.Once stuff is off fone doing back up to pc studio of basic ie text ,,contacts drifters video else it will take years..Hope some kind of updates ready since my last firware is 09/2008..Hope it solves video sync issu then i am satisfied and can start loading up my app and themes..Honestly the picture and sound quality is top notch and with big bright screen and decent battery i bet this is still tops when idou/satio arrives its really superb..

all work GREAT.

What that means is you could show a slide show of photos or movies from your handset to the TV wirelessly.

Why would you stream content from ps3 to innov8,,the games wont play and any other content would be better viewed thru a tele size screen..
Why would you stream content from innov8 to an xbox when their is no reason to do so??
What ive heard is that music from the innov8 can be streamed to a DLNA hi-fi ,or video and pictures can be streamed to an appropriate DNLA television.
I have a big suspicion that the innov8 DNLA works only one way and thats as a source device not a reciever..I could be wrong but to stream content to the innov8 would mean that device would have to be of such a bad quality that the innov8 would be the better device to watch or listen to the content..
Other means of getting content onto other devices wirelessly by bluetooth,,infra red or fm transmitter must mean the DLNA must use a big bandwidth technology to be any different to whats already available..

Can you read English? I could post about 10 sites with loads of software for this phone but I won't ... do it yourself.
