Hi to all i8510 INNOV8 users,
I found out that using camera or video recorder will drain the battery life very fast.
Is someone faced the same as well ?? Or is it my phone problem ??

Battery improves after about a month.There are also some tricks found somewhere hidden in this forum.One is to discharge completely and leave phone off for 1 whole day,then charge while keeping phone off, preferably overnight?Important! do reset when done. Other is to keep back light on and power usage high while charging. Should take a lot of hours.My tip is to find a charger (N85 perhaps) that outputs more than Samsung's standard charger. That way you at least don't have to wait 3-4 hours till charged! Try all these and be patient for a month, things will come right

I bought it from 5 days ago, really it's wonderful phone, but my problem is the BATTERY, it's not completing 3 days standby with 4 or 5 min. talking !!! how come I don't know !!!!!
when I decided to buy this phone because it's including a good battery standby 310 hours and 8 hours talking, but I found something else when I bought it ....!!!!!

why no QWERTY version of this Smartphone?? i don't like alpanumeric hope Samsung can make Symbian Smartphone like Sony Ericsson M600i & P1i [Touchscreen + QWERTY + Much Free RAM 80MB is enough + Large Screen min 2.6inch in CandyBar Design]

I am agree with u . i have also Innov8 and i m facing problems with my phone. 1st of all innov8 cannot updated via OTA (Over to Air)& the common problem that is facing by every user of innov8 is the dust. There is a hole back side of the slide and dust travel from this hole . u can see the dust under the screen.

Pivot means auto rotate.
Click yes to pivot.
Power saving is up to you.

Recently I've bought the INNOV8 handset and found it superb. I have question want to ask for help.
1. What is "Power Saving Mode" doing ?? Should I turn it on or off, which 1 is the right choice ??
2. What is "Pivot" settings for ??

Here is a great site for getting the latest firmware and instructions.
I updated mine today and now it flies and battery is much better.
