Hi Simon,
Can you confirm that frozen issue was solved? I'm not living in Singapore so I'll ask my friend buy and ship it to me. If Samsung Beam get problem, I can't send it back to Singapore to fix.

Conf, 14 Sep 2010Is it safe to buy Samsung Beam now? I don't want a frozen phone!Since the firmware from august ending with H1, the beam is freed from the stuck loading bug.

It would be nice if it would come along with an integrated touchscreen stylus pen.

I v just ordered mine on-line (a website in Singapore) I ve used Chinese projector phones the last year and was very happy with one of them but they all have a lack of softwares and features (No winMo, Android...). I am a fan of Samsung products (especially the MBP200 pico projector, it s been almost 2 years and still an amazing product) whatever once i get the Beam, I ll post my review hoping I will have one with no bad firmware. Take care ;-)))

Hi David
I was referring to the stock battery, after market battery will be anyone's game hehe.
But yeah if all you are interested in is the battery than Beam wouldn't be right for you.
But anyway if you opt for the Desire then why not the Galaxy S, I'm sure there will be after market battery for the Galaxy S too. It has a better bigger screen, cpu, gpu (literally 300% better gpu?). Pretty sure if you are into gaming then these factors are pretty crucial :)
