No memory card slot is wack. Dual band (and not tri-band) 3G is wack. No tethering is wack. I was a little worried about the lack of a card slot, but with no BlueTooth transferring now I'm really worried! How much RAM & ROM?

How many people expressing their opinions on here own this phone??Yeh just as i thought.I have had mine for a week now,had an omnia and omnia 2 before the omnia 7,got to tell you there is no comparison in the OS-totally different.Brand new and user friendly, people scared of Windows Mobile in the past will love Windows Phone 7.Its the easiest system to navagate around and is super smooth, fast and looks good too,and every thing.....just works without drama.Battery life is fine,on par with other smartphones and systems 3 days of calls, texts, internet, videos and music.Music is very loud and clear through the headphones and storage...well i have 13 albums on encoded at 320kps and couple videos and games, contacts, texts, emails and still only half full.Video calling.....who honestly uses it??charges are too high so not many!!Bluetooth files transfers...well thats coming. The Zune software is ace does everything you need it to including converting videos and transfering them to the phone, and the quality is excellent full screen.I think MS has pulled a master stroke with WP7 and it now appeals to people who would never touch Windows Mobile-because it was a bit too fiddly and unreliable.Oh yeh and phones been on a week...no reboots,no crashes,no hanging, and no slowing down!!My opinion is WP7 is the OS to have...mark my words!!!

I get your point Android being open source and all but seriously, cool down before posting...

Carl, 06 Nov 2010I have had this phone for one week now, using it non-stop. ... moreI don't get how people can describe android as an iphone "copy", when there are so many features on adroid handsets that are absent from iphone. So where did android steal live wallpapers and swype from? In fact I think apple stole facebook integration to your contacts from android, a longstanding feature since the release of the N1 that was only implemented with apple's auguest software update.

Or maybe you're talking about the aesthetics? Funny, because samsung designed the form of the iphone 3g/3gs.

Please educate yourself before making derogatory comments. Thanks.

For those complaining about a microSD card, it's not really needed.. you have 8gb and 25gb which is on the cloud. All pics etc taken can be stored directly linked to your live account.

most iPhone users of course won't like this, there systems have already have had 3 generation to practice and perfect. As a first release this has a lot of promise, and I have had winmo for 2 years and don't think I ever used copy and paste anyhow moot conversation as it's being updated. Flash will be sorted soon ( announced by Adobe recently ) Iphone will still have to catch up there...

iPhone is a nice piece of kit, for those that like it, this is the phone that I am having next, and am quietly confident it will not disappoint.

I have had this phone for one week now, using it non-stop. Switching from iPhone I had rather high expectations. In my opinion this is the best handset on the market now, although iPhone4 is a very strong runner up. I love the fact that MS didn't do yet another iPhone rip-off, like android did. They went their own way with hubs and tiles and the result is very intuitive. Comparing perforamnces Windows Phone 7 is the lightening compared to iPhone4.

Guys and Gals don't get disappointed and all of that stuff. Stop whining and listen to me, Microsoft will sooner or later update their software. I'm not talking about the manufacturer's hardware, I'm talking about Windows Phone 7. Just like iOS 4 has been released to iPhone 3G S, iPhone 3G S users had the ability to update their software to iOS 4 and enable the Multi-Tasking. Just Be patient for Microsoft, they are always a little bit late ;) They always please their users just like when they released Windows 7.

Some phones don't have microSD support but that is OEM's choice, Samsung Focus have microSD card. Although Omnia7 doesn't have microSD it has fast flash memory, applications load quite faster than on phones with microSD. Twice as fast compared to HTC Trophy.
Tethering will probably be available on next update...
                              Lots of potential on WP7.

you gotta be kidding us Microsoft , I agree WP7's UI is awesome, no doubt about it but no tethering? no copy paste? no micro SD? we were expecting q real kick ass smart phone but all you came up with just UI, I am an Android plus Windows 7 user but I am open to new ideas, but so far wp7 is a disappointment, fix all these issues and I am yours , will abandon my android phone.
