But Samsung is not a problem to supply the demand for Super AMOLED displays? Rumors says that the production of Wave 1 will be replaced by the Wave 2 for this reason. Then as the Samsung will make another model with this type of Screen?

It looks very cool!! :X It has a great design, great work Samsung, but you should make Windows 7 phones with memory cards like Dell did.

When i hear about a samsung omnia phone i am running away.I am still crying my money for omnia hd and still waiting an official update (god bless faenil and hyper-x guys).400€ and no support at all.Good phones without support are no phones at all.

It's a mistake. The i8700 use The Hummingbird ARM Cortex A8 Processor. It's hard to belive that samsung use the competitor's procesor Qualcomm. I don't think WP7 works only on Qualcomm because Snapdragon and Hummingbird use the same spec.

What happened to their Super amoled display, the Hummingbird processor, both things Samsung made and are proud of. I highly doubt they would leave those things out.

The phone does look minimalist & brilliant. Love the front monolithic look.
If only Samsung would've added the Super AMOLED screen, the device would be near perfect. They've probably added the Qualcomm processor realizing that quicker firmware updates would be possible rather than reworking updates to work on their Hummingbird like in the GalaxyS.
I was dead certain that my next phone was going to be an Android, more specifically the GalaxyS, but this phone is actually making me think whether waiting would be worthwhile. It'll take a lot to make WP7 even more user-friendly & customizable though. I've noticed the interface on videos though slick is very boring
