jacob, 04 Mar 2010can u hel[ me update the firmware peaceshalom@rediffmail.comYes I can help you update but it's hard cause I have no idea when you will be here. Its better if we do it step by step if you have never done it before. But start saving your apps you might want to install again and back up your contacts. Save photos and Music in a folder maybe on your desktop, you can put your apps there also so all can be in one place. Do this than we can start.

soulchild, 04 Mar 2010Which carrier are you using again? Changing the firmware ... moreI was using AT&T but due to that problem I've switched to T-mobile (well I just did an hour ago). I once tested the phone using a friend's Tmobile simcard which had full bars on his phone but almost non on mine. I also thought it could be a setting issue which I will do a hard reset if after a few hours I am still having this problem with T-mobile (currently having that issue with t-mobile also but I am giving it a few hours since I just switched). I thought about the firmware and the reason I haven't flashed is I haven't been able to find my firmware online so I can reflash incase I need to activate the warranty. I am thinking of flashing firmware but I want to be sure the phone isn't faulty first so I don't get into a situation where I find out it is faulty after flashing, but my warranty is void.

My radio works like a charm its very clear and you can also put it on loud spk. Music on this phone wonderful with DNSe 2.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) Virtual 5.1 channel Dolby surround is on in headphones and spk mode in the firmware am using it's not on in all but still sounds great. We not the cam is one of the best on a smartphone with 8mp and 720p hd recording, so no need to go there. Hope this helps.

Wole, 04 Mar 2010I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP Hey all, I've been having problems... moreWhich carrier are you using again?
Changing the firmware most of the times corrects any software related issues. So if its a setting or a conflict in the phone changing the firmware should correct the problem. If the problem is there still than maybe the phone is faulty.
Have you tried using the sim card in another phone? I think I rem reading were you said you tryed it.

                        I SERIOUSLY NEED HELP

Hey all, I've been having problems using my phone ever since I switched providers and started using my omnia hd. I often get a connection error sound when trying to make/receive call. I also don't get full bars (3G and Edge) where others from my provider get full bars. I unlocked the phone and it hasn't been flashed. Has anyone had this problem? BTW I checked provider's bandwidths before signing up so I know that isn't the problem and I also know XXX successfully uses his phone in the U.S (my location). Any ideas on what the problem could be or is it possible my handset is faulty?

XXX, I would particularly like your input here as well since we are both in the U.S. Everyone else (Symbios, Soulchild....) any suggestions is appreciated
