devish, 04 Mar 2010asking it for third time?? sajjad,useless,soulchild and ... moreya one more thing bro,ya it can play wmv files smoothly, i have ice age 3 wmv movie [1 gb ] in my phone and its working smoothly, and one more thing this phone has fm transmitter chip on the board but i dnt know why these samsung bast...ards r not activating it.

devish, 04 Mar 2010asking it for third time?? sajjad,useless,soulchild and ... morehey go for it boy, i will provide u more than 100 apps,games and themes working on this phone. and bro let me tell u it beats noki n93,n95,e90,n96 and n97 in each and every field including this music its v.powerful with loud and clear speakers. i m using it for past 7 months and it havent created any problem yet,it has superb battery backup. and a guy here wrote that the earphone provided with it sucks, but let me tell u the earphone provided with the indian version is v.v powerful [ correct me indians if i m wrong ],i had tested the snehisser headphone given with nokia 5800 and my earphone is 2 times powerful than that snehisser.

Us3Less, 03 Mar 2010Ok guys , u know how sometimes we installed a theme and fou... morefirst frnds its not USELESS ITS USE 3 LESS, HAHAHA, and bro i m using siscontents for past 5 months and i think when ever u edit and pack the app with this application, it also packs some bugs with it which forces u to format ur c memory, may be its because i have the infected version of sis contents.
and frnds good news finally a torch app which works on omnia hd and turns the led to flashlight. its full version i had uploaded it here

With www.youtube.com the videos are all uploaded and after the are recorded, so when u access youtube from your phone u can watch videos that have been uploaded......but if u want to watch the live news from www.bbc.co.uk then u would not be able to since the flash player doesnt support that.....so only videos which have been recorded and uploaded are supported... not live ones

I love the features these other phones offer, good camera, good video (watching and capturing) and neither the Iphones or bberries can offer that. I have tried hacking phones b4. I hacked my old P1i as u all know symbian uiq was laid to rest, but I wasn't very successful in hacking it as most of what I read wasn't clear and pinpoint at all. When you say "live" streaming, what exactly do you mean by that? Is it that I would have to download the video b4 I would be able to watch it? I am not clear on that one. I am getting even closer to buying this handset, I feel I would learn to customize it on this page as long as you guys are here.

Ok guys , u know how sometimes we installed a theme and found out tat the phone number is black and themes with black backgrounds cause digits cannot be seen ? I found a way 2 solved it .1st dl the siscontents from this website : http://symbiandev.cdtools.net/
OK, now step-by-step guide:
- Open sis package of a theme in SISContents, then press Tools->Edit package in the main menu of application.
- Switch to Contents tab, select a file with skn extension (themepackage.skn usually) in the list and press View details.
- In the appeared windows switch to Colours tab.
- Press Add colour groups (screenshot 1).
- Check Samsung text colours in the list on the left part of the window (screenshot 2). To change default values of each colour double click on it in the list.
- When done press OK to close window, the colours will be added to the colour table of the skin.
- If your firmware requires sis packages to be signed before installation press Tools->Sign package in the main menu of SISContents, select SISContents self-signed certificate as a signing profile and click on Add signature.
- Save package and install it on device.

skeptic, 03 Mar 2010is it a firmware released by samsung? i dont have this phon... moreI have used all of Nokia's N-series and all i can say is its better than all of them in terms of overall functions . . . I do admit N86 do take better photos compared to SOHD but other features of SOHD makes it better than most N-series . Support wise , sadly this brand is doing badly but there is always an alternative such as HyperX firmware or even others . However , the final choice is still yours and if u r wondering about speaker volume , I still feel SOHD is better but the orig headphone is terrible , get it replaced if u wan better sound quality
