I have been going through the posts for the pas... moreWow , nice FACTS u got there but how come SOHD is still more expensive than N97 in my country ? Pay 2 service providers ? 4 wat ? We dun purchase our SOHD from them , we get it from samsung's distributor directly . . . . Erm... the hack is actually 4 Symbian as I was using a hacked Nokia b4 SOHD was launched ....No offence but just my 2 cent opinions .

Flasing your hps dun even void our warranty so if we flash our hps till your processor goes crazy , we can still make our warranty claim if its within the warranty period . 2ndly , whatever crap Nokia is researching in Ovi Map , surely not in my country coz if I were 2 use Ovi map here , I will end up at a dead end or some drains ...They r so outdated . 3rdly , OMNIA HD is still more expensive than N97 . 4th , SOHD hack in NOT only for HD but also for Nokia , SE phones . If there is conspiracy behind this , definately not Samsung coz Nokia phones r the 1st phones tat they hack .... Y no updates from Samsung ? Basically they r just stupid like the Samsung staffs in my country . Idiot at the customer service center dun even know i450 is a symbian phone . Sajad how do you go about installing those games that are in folders? For eg. Brick Breaker Revolution 2 and assain creed. They dont have the install icon that you can drag to pc studio just folders with the files, how do I go about installing them?

I have been going through the posts for the past couple of hours and wanted to let you know my 2 cents worth knowledge:)
FACT:
Nokia N97 is costlier than Omnia i8910 HD although omnia HD exceeds n97 in every single aspect you name. If that is true then why is n97 costly. The answer is software. Nokia invests a lot in development of excellent softwares. ovi maps is just one of them. Software development is very costly. Samsung being cleverer makes sure that the money we spend goes to the hardware. Samsung guys are cleverer here. they just release a hack unofficially to help the omnia HD community. The hack enables to install all nokia n97 applications on omnia HD. at the same time, because they officially dont release the hack, but they release it in the name of a unknown samsung user, nokia has nothing to complain about samsung.
Samsung is hence trying its level best to serve the community.
My openion:
To release a firmware for omnia HD users around the world, samsung has to enter into an agreement with the providers and distributors of that country which is a tough an costly process. (search in anaphase.wordpress.com to know more about this.) hence i strongly belive, it is Samsung that releases the firmwares, by paying to guys like hyperx and sev7en

The pic are not as dark in the same conditions as the original. It just seems faster and smoother to me, but I have not really fully tested it as yet. So from what I can see so far its better fa sure.

I think samsung is f***ing with their own phone and there is never going to be an update available.. Are you gonna flash or you have you already ??

i've read that the camera settings are tweaked in hyperx firmwares.. so could anyone using them tell me if the pics are any different (better) than the ones taken while using the original firmware? also, are any of the issues of camera resolved? not talking about the 24fps.. the other things..
