well, i might make a laughing stock out of myself for saying this, but somehow, this morning i really feel like saying it. i work for an IT company in india and i feel there are only 2 things which would make me want to work - 1. appreciation and 2. money.. these are the only things that would keep me going..
i see that a lot of people are shifting to hyperx firmware. i'm sure most of you guys like it. i dont know who this hyperx guy is and i've not tried that firmware either, but i just got the feeling that he's just making these firmwares for guys like us who're waiting for a damn official update and when we get sick of waiting or we feel his firmware is better, we shift to that.. so why not thank him? show him some appreciation.. that's point 1.. and 2, how much does it take to give him a little in monetary terms? say $2 or 100 INR? is it too much for something that makes us delighted - that we're getting the most out of the monster phone that we have? there might be some of us who've already donated.. but i urge the rest of you guys to just go to his site and donate a bit.. even a very small amount would be ok i guess.. like if 1000 people use his firmware and were to donate $2 each, dont you think he deserves those 2000$? plus he takes in all the suggestions people give and makes all sorts of changes and bug fixes.. so as a guy from the IT industry, i urge you guys to go there and cough up a tiny little bit.. some of you might laugh at this, but put yourself in his shoes and think, he's making this for all of us, and how happy it would make him if we encouraged his work and talent.. just my thought.. rest is upto you guys :)
i know this sounds like i'm marketing something or like an ad or something, but its not! :)

soulchild, 05 Feb 2010How is 2.02 am about to upgrade also??Its definately better and faster but still buggy ....for 16G version , u will keep getting "unable to install" . . I got sick of reflashing and , now I'm using memory card 2 install my application ...Oh ya, dun install SMS PREVIEW ....seems to screw up your incoming call ... Callers keep getting "connection error" but no such prob if u didnt install the application

frnds i flashed my phone and lost the warranty, but i m feeling so sorry for myself coz i had done it v. late,its amazing superb,excellent. than the original firmware. thank god finally i did it, f....k u samsung guys for making me to wait for ur firmware update for india.

roelrpt, 05 Feb 2010Sir I'm trying to install the free signer application to my... moreyou could install it anywhere. i would suggest the mass storage as you shouldn't really burden the phone memory too much :) and one more thing. You may need to change the date on your phone to something in 2009 to install freesigner or else it may give you an expired certificate error.. once installed, you can change the date back to the current date.

TIAYou can use 2.03 also, but it has alot of stuff missing, like no 3d navigation on the home screen, no 3d task manager, no my media and alot of stuff is stripped to optimize the system. If you are a speed junkie HX speed 2.03 you would like. I used it and I tought it was great.

When samsung comes out with their update we can wait to see what they do. We do have options. But you will be able to flash with pc studio when it comes out. Doing this wont stop that in no way.

I just completed HyperX 2.02 about 10mins ago and so far its ever faster. Wow, Sajad, roelrpt, Cia and others get the 2.02.

Than go to how to flash at the top of the page. At the end of that tutorial are the links to download some drivers,(I8910 Flashdrivers + Microsoft’s MS XML)download and install than follow the tutorial. This should be a piece of cake for you lol. Let me no as you go.
