sajad khan, 19 Jan 2010rohit brother let me tell u the advance device lock gets ... moreAdvanced Device Locks Pro v2.01(50) is what I have on my phone right now.. please let me know how you think i should proceed.. i've already started transfering my music and movies to my PC :( will then make a backup of msgs and contacts.. last resort - hard reset.. doing a hard reset will format the mass storage and phone memory right? and what about the original apps that came with the phone (like route66, asphalt4 etc.)? will they remain installed once i do the hard reset or will that be lost too?

It still isn't working but I think it has to do with my free signer, but then again if it were a certificate problem then I probably should have gotten a different error instead of "not supported". I will play around with it but if anything comes to mind that I might have done wng then please let me know.

brother let me tell u the advance device lock gets installed in the c drive itself no need to worry
2- tell me which version ur using so that i can give u a higher version to replace that
3- if this does not solved ur problem then backup ur messages,contacts and setting of ur c drive and hard reset ur phone, no need to worry bro,try this it will definetely solve ur problem but hey dont bacup ur c drive data

rohit, 19 Jan 2010thanks for checking.. i really wish someone knew how i coul... moreand i just realized that there's something really fishy about the adv device lock installed on my phone - when i installed, i'd chosen the E: (mass storage) where as the application manager on the phone shows it as phone memory.. would that be causing a problem?

Symbios, 19 Jan 2010Rohit, I had advanced device lock and i changed the code... morethanks for the reply symbios.. i've tried both methods.. even tried doing it through the pc suite app installer but to no avail as it goes thru the same steps.. as u said, i even tried installin another version of it where it asks me if u want to replace the existing one.. if i say yes it says removing and reboots.. i guess i'm doomed.. i had dwnloaded it from mobile9 and signed it using freesigner.. any other way to get it out? i get the feeling hard reset is my only option.. or would a soft reset suffice? i have not done either of them before, so please advice.. thanks

I... moreim using the nokia CA-75U, its working fine. you can also check the TV system you are using. if you dont get the picture you can go to settings, phone, accessories, TV-out, then e.g. if the tv system is set to PAL change it to NTSC or vice versa. If you are in US it should be set to NTSC...

Charging should be done while the phone is turned on.....and allow it to drain without using it....this allows the phone to monitor the standby duration....then when the battery is drained....recharge the battery whilst the handset is powered off....THAT IS THE STANDARD WAY OF CHARGING UR DEVICE......but the better way is to charge phone fully whilst its turned on.....and u can either browse through ur phone whilst its charging(do not make calls or send txt or browse web)jus keep the display light on....or u can u use an app to do so for u call...screen torch or jbak taskman....let phone fully charge....then allow it to drain on its own....repeat the charge technique....this should extend battery life...

This generally happens after i connect it to my pc...
But going to message setting and reselect the E: mass memory then it goes back to normal...
No idea why this happens!!!Firmware issue or the pc is faulty?? i dont know... :-?

The battery may just need time to adjust to the retaining a full longer charge.....just keep charging the phone fully without any screen torch....and only recharge after it is completely drain from daily use.....ur battery should by no means drain in 10 hrs....

As long as the version of screen torch isn't a cracked version then u don't need to hack! The screen torch wont damage the AMOLED screen!
